WORKWEEK AND WORK SCHEDULE. Section 1. The workweek of employees in this bargaining unit shall be defined as commencing at midnight on Saturday and ending at 11:59 PM on the Saturday following. The work locations of such employees shall be defined as Auxiliary Services, Housing Services, Physical Plant Department and Parking Services. Employees reporting to work in each locations may have work assigned by a supervisor on each day of work at such place as shall be determined.

WORKWEEK AND WORK SCHEDULE. Section 1. Hours, Workday and Workweek Except as otherwise specified in this Agreement, the regular hours of work for all full-time employees of Unit I (Clerical and Technical) shall be thirty-seven and one-half (37 ½) hours per week, excluding meal periods. Except as otherwise specified in this Agreement, the regular hours of work for all full-time employees of Unit II (Maintenance and Security) shall be forty (40) hours per week, excluding meal periods. For Unit II employees who are assigned to a second or third shift and who are eligible to receive a shift differential, the regular hours of work shall be forty (40) hours per week including a thirty (30) minute meal period. All such employees shall take their meal period at the location/site to which they are assigned and shall be on call at all times during the meal period. For Unit II employees who are uniformed members of the Campus Police/Safety/Security Department or whose duties require a watch in a power plant or similar facility, the regular hours of work shall be forty (40) hours per week including a thirty (30) minute meal period. All such employees shall take their meal period at the location/site to which they are assigned and shall be on call at all times during the meal period. When the CEO desires to change the regular work schedule of an employee, the affected employee shall receive at least fourteen (14) calendar days written notice of such contemplated change, except in cases of emergency involving the protection of the property of the College or involving the health and safety of those persons whose care and/or custody have been entrusted to the College. Where practicable, assignments in shift, days off, or work location with no change in job title and no change in grade, shall be filled by qualified volunteers in order of seniority. If there are no volunteers, assignments shall be made in inverse order of seniority with the affected employee having priority to return to the original shift, days off, or work location. The work schedule, both starting times and quitting times, of employees shall be posted at least fourteen (14) calendar days in advance on a bulletin board at each work location and also made available to employees and Union Stewards. WORKWEEK AND WORK SCHEDULE. The normal full-time work week, with a period beginning on Monday and ending on Sunday, shall consist of forty (40) hours. Non-office and non-clerical Public Works and Wastewater Treatment Plant employeesFLSA workweek begins on Saturday at 12:00 a.m. and ends on Friday at 11:59 pm. For all other bargaining unit employees, the FLSA workweek begins on Monday at 12:00 a.m. and ends on Sunday at 11:59 p.m. Effective at a date to be identified by the City after ratification of this Agreement, the FLSA workweek shall begin at 12 am on Sunday and end on Saturday at 11:59 pm. The FLSA work week for a 9-80 schedule begins at the midpoint of the 8-hour day, which day shall be adjacent to a nine (9) hour day. The normal full-time work schedule shall consist of eight (8) hours per day in each of five (5) consecutive days or four (4) consecutive, ten (10) hour days. The normal work schedule may be adjusted by the City Administrator or designee in order to allow flexible work schedules (e.g., 9-80) or to require additional hours of work. The Employer retains the right to schedule the workweek in any manner, which may be required in order to meet the needs of the community.

  • HOURS OF WORK AND WORK SCHEDULES 22.01 Except for employees subject to a particular work schedule according to clause 22.10, the duration of the regular work week is established at thirty-five (35) hours generally worked between 9:00 and 17:00 from Monday to Friday.

  • Work Week and Work Day (a) (Applicable to full-time employees only) The normal or standard work week shall be an average of thirty-seven and one-half (37½) hours, with a normal or standard work day of seven and one-half (7½) hours except in those Hospitals where agreements already provide a standard or normal work week of less than thirty-seven and one-half (37½) hours per week and seven and one-half (7½) hours per day. (Those Hospitals with the lesser required hours shall reflect in the salary rates a pro-rata lesser amount compared with salaries for other Hospitals based on the ratio that the standard or normal hours of work at the Hospital concerned are to thirty-seven and one-half (37½) hours and shall appropriately reflect such hours in this Article). The length of time over which the hours of work per week are to be averaged shall be determined locally and shall be set out in the Local Provisions Appendix.

  • Workweek and Workday 1. The normal workweek shall consist of not more than five (5) consecutive days and not more than forty (40) hours per week, Sunday through Saturday. The basic department, agency or other operational unit work schedules and practices, including work schedules or practices peculiar to particular classes, in effect on the effective date of this Agreement, shall not be changed without the employer informing MSEA-SEIU in advance and negotiating the impact of such changes, if requested, on the affected employees. Negotiations shall occur no longer than a thirty (30) day period prior to the implementation of the change. If the parties have not reached agreement within the thirty (30) day period, the obligation to bargain shall continue.

  • Work Day and Work Week (A) The normal hours of work for all full-time employees shall be thirty-five (35) hours per week, or seventy (70) hours per two consecutive weeks. All employees are entitled to thirty-two (32) consecutive hours free from work each week, unless overtime rates are paid, as per Article 29.02.
