WORKWEEK AND HOURS Clause Examples

The "Workweek and Hours" clause defines the standard work schedule and the expected number of hours an employee is required to work each week. Typically, it specifies the days of the week considered as the workweek (such as Monday through Friday) and the daily or weekly hours, for example, 40 hours per week. This clause may also address expectations regarding overtime, breaks, or flexible scheduling. Its core function is to set clear expectations for both employer and employee regarding working time, thereby preventing misunderstandings and ensuring compliance with labor laws.
