Workplace Voting. 307 The employer agrees that the union may hold annual balloting for elected positions in the workplace (covered by article 101) provided there is no disruption to the operation. For clarity, the meeting may be held only after regular business hours and requests must be made two weeks in advance and approved subject to operational requirements.

  • Proxy Voting The Adviser will vote, or make arrangements to have voted, all proxies solicited by or with respect to the issuers of securities in which assets of a Fund may be invested from time to time. Such proxies will be voted in a manner that you deem, in good faith, to be in the best interest of the Fund and in accordance with your proxy voting policy. You agree to provide a copy of your proxy voting policy to the Trust prior to the execution of this Agreement, and any amendments thereto promptly.

  • TIME OFF FOR VOTING (a) If an employee does not have sufficient time outside of working hours to vote at a statewide election, the employee may, without loss of pay, take off enough working time that, when added to the voting time available outside of working hours, will enable the employee to vote.

  • Voting Time All employees shall be allowed up to two paid hours for the purpose of voting provided the employee does not have sufficient time before or after regular duty hours to vote. The two hours authorized for voting does not apply to those employees who by reasons of their employment must vote by use of an absentee ballot.

  • Poll and Voting (1) On every Extraordinary Resolution, and on any other question submitted to a meeting and after a vote by show of hands when demanded by the chairman or by one or more of the Registered Warrantholders acting in person or by proxy and entitled to acquire in the aggregate at least 5% of the aggregate number of Common Shares which could be acquired pursuant to all the Warrants then outstanding, a poll shall be taken in such manner as the chairman shall direct. Questions other than those required to be determined by Extraordinary Resolution shall be decided by a majority of the votes cast on the poll.

  • Voting Time Leave Any employee who is eligible to vote in any statewide primary or general election or at any election to fill a vacancy in the office of a representative in Congress or in the office of state senator or state representative, may absent himself/herself from work for the purpose of voting during such election day provided the employee has made prior arrangements for such absence with his/her immediate supervisor.
