Workplace Skills and Competencies. We will endeavour to improve skills and provide greater formal training opportunities that benefit both the employee and the employer. The Parties agree that all employees will carry out all duties consistent with their current classification, required to meet the needs of the business. Team members with recognised trade skills will use these skills within their classification, as part of their duties while working within the team. The parties agree to the following: • We will apply training programs developed and updated through training needs analysis. The training programs shall reflect the skill requirements of the business and enhance the job roles of Steel Endmaking employees. • The parties will commit to the implementation of the National Metals Engineering Competency Standards (NMECS) as detailed in the NMECS Implementation Manual. • On classification employees will receive notification which documents the individual competencies achieved, with this being reissued on further reclassification. • Where an opening occurs within a competency level all employees will have the opportunity to apply to be trained to fill the vacancy. • Reclassification of employees to a higher classification level is based upon the attainment and application of the relevant competencies for that level of classification. • All structured training shall be conducted at single time rates. • Employees participating in Company structured training according to the plant's training plan shall be paid at a rate which takes into account the normal shift that the employee would have been rostered to work.

Ability to communicate effectively with building occupants and employees of OCCC. - Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. - Shall possess a valid Florida Driver’s license (or State issued ID) for the duration of employment in this position. - Willing to work in a team atmosphere and be willing to work alongside OCCC employees.

  • Students with Disabilities The Charter School shall comply with all federal special education laws and regulations, including Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.

  • Workplace Flexibility Where, for bona fide operational reasons the Employer schedules employees to work Saturday or Sunday, the following criteria shall apply:

  • Training and Orientation (a) No employee shall be required to work on any job or operate any piece of equipment until he/she has received proper training and instruction.

  • Specialist knowledge and skills Indicative but not exclusive tasks include: the undertaking of semi-skilled work, including cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, washing and ironing, shopping, sweeping paths, minor maintenance jobs, preparation and cooking of meals, defrosting refrigerators, emptying and cleaning of commodes, banking and account payment, organising appointments, assistance with care of pets, and care of indoor and outdoor pot plants.

  • Accreditation of Public Schools and Adoption and Implementation of School Plans The District will implement a system of accrediting all of its schools, as described in section 22-11- 307, C.R.S., which may include measures specifically for those schools that have been designated as Alternative Education Campuses, in accordance with the provisions of 1 CCR 301-57. The District will ensure that plans are implemented for each school in compliance with the requirements of the State Board pursuant to 1 CCR 301-1.
