Workplace Hazardous Materials Information Systems. The Employer shall provide MSDS data sheets in each work area which identify in writing presently used chemicals, substances or equipment present in the work area including hazards, precautions and antidotes or procedures to be followed following exposure. These MSDS sheets shall be available to employees in each work area.

Workplace Hazardous Materials Information Systems. The Supplier shall meet all WHMIS requirements as defined under the Ontario Heath and Safety Act. A current Material Safety Data Sheet conforming to WHMIS legislation must be provided by Supplier with all goods shipped which are regulated by WHMIS.

  • Hazardous Substances The words "Hazardous Substances" mean materials that, because of their quantity, concentration or physical, chemical or infectious characteristics, may cause or pose a present or potential hazard to human health or the environment when improperly used, treated, stored, disposed of, generated, manufactured, transported or otherwise handled. The words "Hazardous Substances" are used in their very broadest sense and include without limitation any and all hazardous or toxic substances, materials or waste as defined by or listed under the Environmental Laws. The term "Hazardous Substances" also includes, without limitation, petroleum and petroleum by-products or any fraction thereof and asbestos.

  • Hazardous Material Such Obligor will not, and will not permit any of its Subsidiaries to, use, generate, manufacture, install, treat, release, store or dispose of any Hazardous Material, except in compliance with all applicable Environmental Laws or where the failure to comply could not reasonably be expected to result in a Material Adverse Change.
