WORKMANSHIP AND MATERIALS. 1.10.1 Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, transportation, materials, tools and equipment necessary to satisfactorily complete the service in a manner consistent with the Project Manager’s plan and schedule. Contractor’s equipment shall be of the size and type appropriate for completing the various types of work described in this RFP. Contractor shall ensure that any equipment considered by the Project Manager to be improper or inadequate for this purpose is removed from the site and replaced with satisfactory equipment.

WORKMANSHIP AND MATERIALS. 9.1 All hydrants installed must conform to BSEN 750/1984 and display the BS standard xxxx xxxx. Any variation from this standard will be subject to an agreement between the Water Company and the Fire Authority. All equipment provided by the Water Company must comply with the appropriate European Standards and satisfy the regulations listed under Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1991.

WORKMANSHIP AND MATERIALS. The Owner shall at all times supervise the work and shall not employ on the Work any unfit person nor anyone not skilled in the work assigned to him or her. The Owner shall use only competent contractors to perform the Work. The Owner shall provide and pay for all materials, labor, water, tools, equipment, light, power, transportation, and all other facilities necessary for the execution and completion of the Work. All workmanship, equipment, materials, and articles incorporated in the Work shall be new, shall be the best available grade, and shall be of a quality equal to, or better than that specified.

All materials, equipment and other items incorporated into the Work shall be of good quality and, unless specified otherwise, shall be new. The Contractor shall, upon request, provide satisfactory evidence as to the type and quality of materials used in connection with the Work. If the Contractor determines that the materials delivered to the Project Site do not represent a good quality product, it shall advise the District Representative, and shall remedy the deficient quality as quickly as possible with the shortest delay, if any, to the Work on the Project, unless otherwise instructed by the District Representative.

Contractor’s equipment shall be of the size and type appropriate for completing the various types of work described in the contract or any associating Purchase Order. Contractor shall ensure that any equipment considered by the BGS Contract Coordinator to be improper or inadequate for this purpose is removed from the site and replaced with satisfactory equipment.
WORKMANSHIP AND MATERIALS. The Employer requires the Contractor to consistently maintain a high quality and standard of workmanship throughout the duration of the Contract. Any Works undertaken where the standards of workmanship or materials are not to standards acceptable to the Contract Administrator will be directed to be rectified under the terms of the Contract. Any such direction issued by the Contract Administrator under the terms of the Contract is to be completed within 5 working days. Failure to remedy such unacceptable standards of workmanship or quality of materials will in accordance with the terms of the Contract result in the Employer having such works completed and/or made good by another Contractor. The Employer will then be entitled to offset, from any monies due to the Contractor under this or any other contract or recover the same as a debt, the full amount of any costs incurred by the Employer in the undertaking of the remedial action including the Employer’s administrative costs.
