Workload of Members. (a) The normal full-time workload of Members will include teaching, research/scholarly/creative activities, and service to the community in proportions as governed by and varied in accordance with past practice and the provisions of this agreement. The workload of the Member is determined by the Xxxx, in consultation with the Member and, where applicable, the department/division Chair(s), it being understood that no Member can be assigned specific research, creative, scholarly or professional activities.

  • Professional Memberships Each employee is eligible for reimbursement for membership fees or dues paid for the maintenance of a license required to perform employee’s job and for dues paid for membership in one additional job related professional association.

  • New Member Orientation The Employer will notify the Union of any newly represented temporary employees. The Union will be given the opportunity to have a Union representative speak with the newly represented temporary employees for not more than thirty (30) minutes to provide information about the Union and this Agreement.
