Working Year. L15:01 The standard work year will be consistent with the school year calendar, as approved by the Ministry of Education. The work year and hours of work may be amended in the event the Board becomes the direct service provider for the extended day program. Prior to implementing such, consultation will take place with the bargaining unit.

Working Year. Your teaching year will not normally exceed 38 weeks, of which 2 weeks will be spent on teaching-related administration. While some flexibility may be required in organising the teaching year, you will not (except with prior agreement) be required to undertake more than 14 consecutive weeks of teaching at any one time, and any significant variations to the normal pattern of the teaching year in (the institution) will only be made after consultation with the staff and the recognised lecturer unions.

Working Year. All yearly pay and other benefits for Plant Engineers shall begin on July 1 of each year, except for changes in insurance coverage which will be effective the next premium date after ratification. If rates of pay are not established by July 1, retroactive money will be paid in one (1) separate check.
