Common use of Working Together Clause in Contracts

Working Together. The Company and the Union agree to the principle of working together to resolve problems relating to any Article or clause of this Agreement. To this end, the parties recognize that with selected problems, the Company and the Union will be required to meet. In these cases, the Local Chairperson of the Local Union will coordinate with the HR Manager to discuss and resolve the situation(s). It is understood by both parties that the intention of this Article is not to infringe upon the rights of either party, but rather to provide a method of conflict resolution through: (a) the grievance process; and (b) regular monthly labour management meetings.
