Working Out of Range. An employee temporarily assigned by the District to replace an absent employee who is in a higher classification shall be considered working out of classification. After the employee has served three (3) consecutive days out of classification (except in the instance of an employee stepping into the Dining Services Manager, Base Kitchen Manager, or the Satellite Kitchen Manager positions(s), which will begin on the first full day), they shall receive an adjusted rate of pay retroactive to the first day of the temporary assignment. Said employee shall be entitled to the rate of pay that is the step in the new range close to, but not less than, the previous rate of pay, plus one step.

Working Out of Range. An employee temporarily assigned by the District to replace an absent employee who is in a higher classification shall be considered acting out of classification. Said employee shall be entitled to the rate of pay that is the comparable step in the new classification range which provides a salary one (1) step higher than the salary he/she was receiving prior to the assignment, or the rate of the first step of the new classification range, whichever is greater, from the first day of the assignment.
Working Out of Range. 10.12.1 An employee assigned to perform the duties of a higher pay range bargaining unit position for more than fifty percent (50%) of will be paid at the corresponding range and step. That affords a pay increase of not less than fifty cents ($.50) per hour for all of the time worked in the higher pay range position. If an employee works more than three (3) consecutive days, the pay rate will be retroactive to the first day of the assignment.
Working Out of Range. A. Higher Classification Employees temporarily assigned by the District to replace an absent employee who is in a higher paying job shall be entitled to the rate of pay of the temporarily assigned job. In the event the hours worked in the higher classification are more than their regular scheduled hours, the District insurance contribution will be increased to match the additional hours worked beginning on the sixth (6th) consecutive day worked.
