Working on Public Holidays. (i) If an employee is required to work in accordance with the provisions of this Collective Agreement on any part of a public holiday, they shall receive payment for the greater of -
Working on Public Holidays. The growing of chickens is dependent on natural cycles related to the laying and hatching of chicks, and as a consequence, employees will be required to work on all public holidays.
Working on Public Holidays. All time worked on the public holidays set out in clause 6.6 (Public Holidays) outside the ordinary working hours specified in this Agreement, prescribed by a roster, or usually worked on the day of the week on which the holiday is kept, shall be paid at double the rate prescribed by this Agreement for such time when worked outside such working hours on an ordinary working day. That is, where the rate prescribed is time and a half the rate payable is three (3) times the ordinary rate and where the rate prescribed is double time the rate payable is four (4) times the ordinary rate.
Working on Public Holidays. (a) Except in the situation specified above, where some Employees are required to work on a public holiday such Employees will be paid double time and one half for each hour worked on a public holiday.
Working on Public Holidays. The University may request an employee to work on a public holiday if the request is reasonable. An employee may, however, refuse such a request if the requirement is not reasonable or if the refusal is reasonable. Professional staff, other than casual employees, who work on a public holiday will receive time off in lieu, except where overtime payment is claimed.
Working on Public Holidays. All time worked on any of the aforesaid holidays outside the employee's ordinary starting and ceasing times for the Day of the week on which such holiday falls will be paid for at the rate prescribed for such Public Xxxxxxxx as prescribed in clause 3.1
Working on Public Holidays. From time to time there may be a requirement to request certain areas of the business to work on a Public Holiday. If such a request is made, employees may be offered the choice of receiving double time and a half payments for time worked, or they may decide to receive time and a half payment plus a day off in lieu of the Public Holiday worked. This offer would be discussed with those involved in advance of the Public Holiday so that pay arrangements for any such situation are clear and agreed. This option is not an automatic choice and may not be offered to production employees.
Working on Public Holidays. If the Employee is required or requested to work on a public holiday, the Holidays Act 2003 will apply.
Working on Public Holidays a The Employer may request that an Employee work on a public holiday if the request is reasonable. b An Employee may refuse the request if the request is not reasonable, or the refusal is reasonable, taking into account the matters set out in the NES.
Working on Public Holidays. The employer may require adequate staffing on weekends and gazetted public holidays specific to a particular state and public holidays that do not apply to all states in Australia on the same day. This clause does not diminish in any way the employer’s right to require employees to work reasonable overtime to cover staffing requirements for weekends and/or public holidays.
