Working Lunch. Employees on an approved working lunch schedule are only required to work eight (8), nine (9), or ten (10) hours, depending on their work schedule. Any employee working in excess of their assigned shift who has had a working lunch shall receive appropriate overtime for their classification.

Working Lunch. All Employees will be entitled to a lunch period on his/her own time between the hours of eleven (11:00) a.m. and one (1:00) p.m. If an Employee was not allowed to eat during this eleven (11:00) a.m. to one (1:00) p.m. lunch period, said Employee shall receive time and one half (1½) for working during his lunch and said Employee shall be allowed a twenty (20) minute lunch period on company time. No Employee shall be required to go more than five (5) hours without eating when working an eight (8) hour day.
Working Lunch. An Employee who is scheduled at least eight (8) hours will, as in the past, be allowed adequate time for lunch. All efforts will be made to give the Employee this time. If lunch is not taken, no penalty will be assessed. (Studio crew/tags, program editors, assignment editors, associate producers, operations technicians, master control, news directors, tag directors, producers, news videographers).
Working Lunch. It is recognized that at times it may be necessary to work Employees through all or part of their lunch period. When Employees are worked through their normal lunch period, they will be provided time equal to the scheduled lunch immediately before or after their normal lunch period. If the Supervisor is unable to provide a full lunch period, the Supervisor and the Employee(s) will discuss the options of overtime, compensatory time, or early release. Consideration will be given to the Employee(s) choice whenever possible.
