Necessary reduction of personnel-layoff: The parties hereto, realizing that education, curriculum, and staff to a large degree depend upon the economic facilities available to the Board, as provided by the public and the State of Michigan, and in accordance with this realization understand that in some instances it may be economically necessary to reduce the educational program, curriculum, and staff when funds are not available, hereby agree as follows:

Working Conditions and Assignments. It is hereto understood by the parties that the assignments of duties to any immediate employee in his or her respective classification shall be vested with the Employer consistent with the provisions outlined in this Agreement.

Written job descriptions will be made available to any paraprofessional upon request from the building administrators to define responsibilities, and to facilitate the performance of the duties. The Board reserves the right to change workloads and job descriptions from time to time.

Except where otherwise expressly required by applicable law or regulation, H-GAC shall not be responsible for monitoring Contractor's compliance, or that of Contractor’s subcontractors, with any laws or regulations.
