Common use of Worked Holidays Clause in Contracts

Worked Holidays. Employees who are required to work on the above-named 13 holidays shall either receive the pay due them for the holiday plus time and a half (1.5) their 14 working rate for all hours worked on such holiday, or the employee has the option of taking off 15 another day as the holiday. If an employee elects the option to take a day other than the 16 designated holiday off, it should occur within the week before or the week after the official 17 designated holiday.

Worked Holidays. 11 Employees who are required to work on the above-named 13 holidays shall either 12 receive the pay due them for the holiday holiday, plus time and a half (1.5) double their 14 working base rate for all 13 hours worked on such holiday, or plus shift differential and Cost of Living 14 Adjustment, if applicable, unless the employee has the option of taking off starts to work at 10:00 P.M., 15 another day as the holiday. If an employee elects the option to take a day other than the 16 designated holiday off, it should occur within the week before or the week after the official 17 designated holidaythereafter on that day.
