WORKDAY DEFINED. For the purpose of this Agreement, a working day is the period from midnight to midnight. Where shifts overlap into two (2) working days, payment shall be made for the hours worked on each working day in accordance with the rates established for such days.

WORKDAY DEFINED. (a) The normal workday shall be six (6) hours of assigned duty for instructors and instructional assistants. By mutual agreement between the College and the employee hours may be extended to a maximum of twelve (12) hours per day.

  • Key Definitions As used herein, the following terms shall have the following respective meanings:

  • Seniority Defined Seniority is defined as the total length of service in the bargaining unit as an employee, regardless of occupational change. Seniority shall be used as one of the factors in determining preference or priority for promotion, transfers, demotions, terminations and layoff caused by force reductions and recall. Follow Citylink north to Racecourse Road to complete the boundary. Where one boundary of a project fronts at least one of the above streets, then such project is deemed to be within the City of Melbourne.   • FTE Definition Effective September 1, 2017, part-time teacher FTE will be determined by the ratio of the teacher’s actual annual instructional time to the teacher instructional time of a full-time assignment in the teacher’s school. This FTE will be used to calculate the prorated portion of a teacher’s assignable time.
