Common use of Work Standards Clause in Contracts

Work Standards. The Contractor shall execute its responsibilities by following and applying at all times the highest professional and technical guidelines and standards. If the State becomes dissatisfied with the work product of or the working relationship with those individuals assigned to work on this Contract, the State may request in writing the replacement of any or all such individuals, and the Contractor shall grant such request. The Contractor Designer shall execute its responsibilities by following and applying at all times the highest professional skill, care, and diligence required by this Contract, or, if not set forth herein, ordinarily exercised by competent professionals of good standing in the same discipline, practicing in the same or similar locality, and shall understand and utilize all relevant IDOA Public Works Division standards and technical guidelines guidelines, including the Public Works Designer Manual, and standardsother appropriate materials.
