WORK PROCEDURES FOR FIBER OPTIC SERVICES. 8.2.A SERVICE DROP CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATIONS (Residential & Commercial) • E-Span clamps are required for all drops. • Wedge drop grips will be used to support all drops. • Maximum sag on a drop that is not lashed will be 1” per 100’ span. • 8” diameter drip loops will be used at every tap, intermediate pole, and mid-span clamp. • When drops transition from aerial to underground, a 5’ riser u-guard will be used. All holes in the u-guard must have screws. E-clips will be used above the riser and placed approximately 18” apart. • Underground service drops should be buried (average depth of 10”) to customer’s premise. • P-hook are required to attach the drop to the subscriber’s dwelling. • E-clips will be used to secure the drop to the subscriber’s dwelling and be spaced 18” apart. • A NID box will be installed on the side of the subscriber’s building. NID boxes will be placed to match other existing demarcation boxes where possible. • The first E-clip should be 6” to 8” below the NID box to support the fiber. • Tie-wraps will be used in the NID to secure the fiber. They are NOT to be placed on the buffer tube, but only on the drop sheath and strength members. • Drops coming up from the underground to the NID will use ½” conduit up the foundation to just below the siding. The conduit is to be secured to the foundation using c-clamps and anchors. E-clips will be used every 18” to secure the drop up to the NID with the last E-clip within 6”-8” of the NID. • Underground workers are responsible for restorations including shrubbery and plants. • Power mast clamps should only be used where overhead clearance is an issue. • Tracer wire will be used on all dielectric drops. • Pigtail jumpers shall be spliced on the blue fiber on customer end of the drop. Unused fibers shall be left the same length as blue fiber for future use. • Light meter readings are required after each splice and connection and shall be submitted with completed drop paperwork. • Clearances are as follows: o State Roads 18’ o County and dirt roads 16” o Over tillable fields 16” o *Over non-traveled roads 12” *Requires permission of Cooperative representative.

  • Procedures for Providing LNP ( “Long-term Number Portability”). The Parties will follow the LNP provisioning process recommended by the North American Numbering Council (NANC) and adopted by the FCC. In addition, the Parties agree to follow the LNP ordering procedures established at the OBF. The Parties shall provide LNP on a reciprocal basis.

  • Procedures for Providing NP Through Full NXX Code Migration Where a Party has activated an entire NXX for a single Customer, or activated at least eighty percent (80%) of an NXX for a single Customer, with the remaining numbers in that NXX either reserved for future use by that Customer or otherwise unused, if such Customer chooses to receive Telephone Exchange Service from the other Party, the first Party shall cooperate with the second Party to have the entire NXX reassigned in the LERG (and associated industry databases, routing tables, etc.) to an End Office operated by the second Party. Such transfer will be accomplished with appropriate coordination between the Parties and subject to appropriate industry lead times for movements of NXXs from one switch to another. Neither Party shall charge the other in connection with this coordinated transfer.

  • Conversion of Wholesale Services to Network Elements or Network Elements to Wholesale Services Upon request, BellSouth shall convert a wholesale service, or group of wholesale services, to the equivalent Network Element or Combination that is available to Global Dialtone pursuant to Section 251 of the Act and under this Agreement or convert a Network Element or Combination that is available to Global Dialtone pursuant to Section 251 of the Act and under this Agreement to an equivalent wholesale service or group of wholesale services offered by BellSouth (collectively “Conversion”). BellSouth shall charge the applicable nonrecurring switch-as-is rates for Conversions to specific Network Elements or Combinations found in Exhibit A. BellSouth shall also charge the same nonrecurring switch-as-is rates when converting from Network Elements or Combinations. Any rate change resulting from the Conversion will be effective as of the next billing cycle following BellSouth’s receipt of a complete and accurate Conversion request from Global Dialtone. A Conversion shall be considered termination for purposes of any volume and/or term commitments and/or grandfathered status between Global Dialtone and BellSouth. Any change from a wholesale service/group of wholesale services to a Network Element/Combination, or from a Network Element/Combination to a wholesale service/group of wholesale services, that requires a physical rearrangement will not be considered to be a Conversion for purposes of this Agreement. BellSouth will not require physical rearrangements if the Conversion can be completed through record changes only. Orders for Conversions will be handled in accordance with the guidelines set forth in the Ordering Guidelines and Processes and CLEC Information Packages as referenced in Sections 1.13.1 and 1.13.2 below.

  • Network Services Local Access Services In lieu of any other rates and discounts, Customer will pay fixed monthly recurring local loop charges ranging from $1,200 to $2,000 for TDM-based DS-3 Network Services Local Access Services at 2 CLLI codes mutually agreed upon by Customer and Company.

  • Required Procurement Procedures for Obtaining Goods and Services The Grantee shall provide maximum open competition when procuring goods and services related to the grant-assisted project in accordance with Section 287.057, Florida Statutes.

  • Implementation Services The Company and the Client have developed a plan for implementing the services to be provided hereunder, including with respect to the transition of responsibility for such services from the Client and its current administrator to the Company, which plan attached hereto as Schedule I (the “Implementation Plan”). The Company shall perform the services required to complete the Implementation Plan, as set forth therein (the “Implementation Services”). The Company and the Client shall comply with any applicable requirements agreed in the Implementation Plan.

  • Design Services The Engineer shall perform services during the schematic design phase, the design development phase, the contract documents phase, and the bidding period as hereinafter specified.

  • Network Interconnection Architecture Each Party will plan, design, construct and maintain the facilities within their respective systems as are necessary and proper for the provision of traffic covered by this Agreement. These facilities include but are not limited to, a sufficient number of trunks to the point of interconnection with the tandem company, and sufficient interoffice and interexchange facilities and trunks between its own central offices to adequately handle traffic between all central offices within the service areas at P.01 grade of service or better. The provisioning and engineering of such services and facilities will comply with generally accepted industry methods and practices, and will observe the rules and regulations of the lawfully established tariffs applicable to the services provided.
