WORK PERFORMANCE AND HOURS OF WORK DRIVERS. The Company shall arrange runs in a manner that will give preference to senior employees. Drivers shall not normally drive in excess of miles per week. Work preference for Driver shall be subject to this mileage consideration. Every attempt will be made to equalize the work between employees of different terminals. Where it does not effect the efficient operations of the Company, employees having run more than miles or hours in a given week may request to book off, however work preference will continue to be given on the basis of seniority. Seniority shall prevail in the allocation of work throughout the week, to the extent that it is consistent with the foregoing conditions. Drivers Brokers held over away from their home terminal shall be given preference on the first return loads travelling in the direction of their home terminals. Drivers who book off shall be considered unavailable for work for one (1) complete shift equivalent to ten hours (excluding for Union Business, sickness, mechanical breakdown and/or personal reasons, providing that personal reasons are divulged to one member of supervision).

  • TASK ORDER PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE ‌ The period of performance for each Order placed under the Master Contract shall be specified in the individual Order. All the following conditions apply:

  • 00 - HOURS OF WORK 14.01 The Employer does not guarantee to provide work to any employee for regularly assigned hours or any other hours, except as provided for in Article 18.00. Eight (8) hours shall constitute a normal day of work. The normal hours of work shall be between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. for an eight (8) hour day, with one-half or one hour for lunch at the midpoint of the shift. Forty (40) hours shall constitute a normal week's work, Monday through Friday inclusive. Variances beyond one (1) hour of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. shall be agreed mutually between the Employer and the Business Manager. The one (1) hour variance is conditional upon the Employer giving the Union and affected employees appropriate advance notice. If the foregoing starting or quitting times are changed without mutual agreement, applicable overtime rates shall be paid for any time worked before or after the above hours as a result of the change of the times.

  • HOURS OF WORK & OVERTIME (Subject to implementation instructions, the following clauses will appear in all collective agreements replacing any provision related to the Work Week and Work Day, Rest Periods, Overtime Definitions, Overtime/Callback Accumulation, Missed Meal Breaks, Meal Allowance, Time Off Between Shifts, and Change of Schedule that existed in the Hospital’s expiring collective agreement:)

  • HOURS OF WORK i) Where employees are now working a longer daily tour, the provisions set out in this Article governing the regular hours of work on a daily tour shall be adjusted accordingly.

  • Service Levels Annex 1 to this Part A of this Call Off Schedule sets out the Service Levels the performance of which the Parties have agreed to measure. The Supplier shall monitor its performance of this Call Off Contract by reference to the relevant performance criteria for achieving the Service Levels shown in Annex 1 to this Part A of this Call Off Schedule (the Service Level Performance Criteria) and shall send the Customer a Performance Monitoring Report detailing the level of service which was achieved in accordance with the provisions of Part B (Performance Monitoring) of this Call Off Schedule. The Supplier shall, at all times, provide the Services in such a manner that the Service Levels Performance Measures are achieved. If the level of performance of the Supplier of any element of the provision by it of the Services during the Call Off Contract Period: is likely to or fails to meet any Service Level Performance Measure or is likely to cause or causes a Critical Service Failure to occur, the Supplier shall immediately notify the Customer in writing and the Customer, in its absolute discretion and without prejudice to any other of its rights howsoever arising including under Clause 12 of this Call Off Contract (Service Levels and Service Credits), may: require the Supplier to immediately take all remedial action that is reasonable to mitigate the impact on the Customer and to rectify or prevent a Service Level Failure or Critical Service Level Failure from taking place or recurring; and if the action taken under paragraph (a) above has not already prevented or remedied the Service Level Failure or Critical Service Level Failure, the Customer shall be entitled to instruct the Supplier to comply with the Rectification Plan Process; or if a Service Level Failure has occurred, deduct from the Call Off Contract Charges the applicable Service Level Credits payable by the Supplier to the Customer in accordance with the calculation formula set out in Annex 1 of this Part A of this Call Off Schedule; or if a Critical Service Level Failure has occurred, exercise its right to Compensation for Critical Service Level Failure in accordance with Clause 13 of this Call Off Contract (Critical Service Level Failure) (including subject, for the avoidance of doubt, the proviso in Clause 13.1.2 of this Call Off Contract in relation to Material Breach). Approval and implementation by the Customer of any Rectification Plan shall not relieve the Supplier of any continuing responsibility to achieve the Service Levels, or remedy any failure to do so, and no estoppels or waiver shall arise from any such Approval and/or implementation by the Customer. SERVICE CREDITS Annex 1 to this Part A of this Call Off Schedule sets out the formula used to calculate a Service Credit payable to the Customer as a result of a Service Level Failure in a given service period which, for the purpose of this Call Off Schedule, shall be a recurrent period of [one Month] during the Call Off Contract Period (the Service Period).

  • Acceptance/Performance Test 4.7.1 Prior to synchronization of the Power Project, the SPD shall be required to get the Project certified for the requisite acceptance/performance test as may be laid down by Central Electricity Authority or an agency identified by the central government to carry out testing and certification for the solar power projects.

  • Work Performance All work in performance of this Lease shall be done by skilled workers or mechanics and shall be acceptable to the RECO. The RECO may reject the Lessor’s workers 1) if such are unlicensed, unskilled, or otherwise incompetent, or 2) if such have demonstrated a history of either untimely or otherwise unacceptable performance in connection with work carried out in conjunction with either this contract or other Government or private contracts.
