Work on a General Holiday. ‌ C8.06 In addition to holiday pay, employees who are required to work on a general holiday shall be paid at overtime rates for all hours worked, in accordance with paragraph C4.06 of Article C-4.

Work on a General Holiday. Employees who work on a General Holiday shall receive a day off with pay at a time mutually convenient to the Employer and the employee. At his/her sole discretion, the employee may accept payment for the General Holiday in addition to the appropriate pay owing for work performed on the General Holiday.
Work on a General Holiday. When a permanent or casual employee is scheduled to work on a general holiday, they shall be compensated at the rate of double time (2x) for all hours worked on such day.
Work on a General Holiday. When an eligible permanent full-time and part-time Employee is required to work on a general holiday, the Employee shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1.5X) for the time so worked up to twelve (12) hours and double time (2X) thereafter, plus (+) the Employee shall receive a day off with pay in lieu of the holiday at his/her normal basic rate (normally scheduled straight-time hours). This lieu day shall be taken off on the Employee’s next regularly scheduled workday, operational requirements permitting. If the Company does not approve this day off as a result of operational requirements, the Employee’s lieu day shall be taken at a time that is mutually agreeable to the Employee involved and the Company. This notwithstanding, Employees may elect to receive pay for such lieu day, rather than taking this lieu day off with pay.
Work on a General Holiday. If an employee works on any of the above-cited holidays, he shall be paid for all hours worked on the holiday at one and one-half (1 ½) times his/her straight time hourly rate of pay in addition to his/her holiday pay as herein provided. A minimum of four (4) hours pay at time and one-half (1 ½) will apply whether the employee is required to remain at work for four (4) hours or not.
