Work Experience Credit. A maximum of 7 years of experience credit will be given for all classifications. The experience credit may be awarded at any point during the probationary period; however, will not be paid back to the date of hire. To get credit for previous work experience, it needs to be listed in the application and the previous experience must be verified and relevant to the position.

Readmission after a Requirement to Withdraw: A student required to withdraw must stay out for two terms before being eligible for readmission. In this context, Spring/Summer is not counted as a term unless it is a scheduled term within the student's degree program. If a student receives a suspension for academic misconduct which overlaps the period of withdrawal resulting from poor academic performance, the periods of withdrawal and suspension will run sequentially. The total length of the required absence is to be equal to the period of the suspension plus the period of withdrawal for academic reasons. All students are readmitted on probation and must take all the previously failed courses and other courses as specified by the Xxxx. For students in the co-op program, readmission must coincide with the start of an academic term. A student required to withdraw a second time is not normally readmitted to the Faculty of Engineering. Work Experience Credit. For initial placement on a salary schedule credit will be allowed for verified successful full-time paid work experience related to the teaching experience for every two years of such work experience upon approval of a written request submitted to the Superintendent of Schools or designee.

Related to Work Experience Credit

  • Experience Credit a. For the purpose of this article, a teacher teaching on call (TTOC) shall be credited with one (1) day of experience for each full-time equivalent day worked.

  • Work Experience Formula hour equivalents will be given on the basis of the following number of students enrolled at fourth week census: 5-14 students enrolled = 1 (one) formula hour 15-24 students enrolled = 2 (two) formula hours 25-34 students enrolled = 3 (three) formula hours

  • Experience Pay An employee hired by the Hospital with recent and related experience, may claim at the time of hiring on a form supplied by the Hospital, consideration for such experience. Any such claim shall be accompanied by verification of previously related experience. The Hospital shall then evaluate such experience during the probationary period. Where, in the Hospital’s opinion such experience is relevant, the employee shall be slotted in that step of the wage progression consistent with one (1) year’s service for every one (1) year of related experience in the classification on the completion of the employee’s probationary period. It is understood and agreed that this shall not constitute a violation of the wage schedule of the Collective Agreement.

  • Previous Experience 31.01 New employees will be classified according to previous comparable experience for the purpose of establishing wage rates. The Co-operative shall not be required to recognize previous experience of new employees who have not worked in the same or similar business in the past two (2) years. Recognized credit for previous experience shall be applicable to qualifying employees commencing with the first working day following completion of said employee's probationary period.
