WORK CLOTHING AND FOOTWEAR. 28.01 The Company shall provide employees with four (4) sets of work uniforms per calendar year or additionally when warranted, subject to approval of the Department Manager. Company supplied uniforms shall be worn during working hours.

All Divisions Regulation shoes shall be worn at all times and are defined as durable leather boots, or similar durable manufactured boots, ankle height (approximately 6 inches from the outsole) with a rubber or rubber-like lug outsole and heel height of approximately 1 to 1 ½ inches. All T-shirts, polo shirts, sweatshirts, and jackets shall be silk screened or embroidered with “Weston DPW” and the employee’s name. Winter jackets shall be hooded, brown duck “Xxxxxxx” or equal, waist or mid length cut. Spring jackets shall have wind and water-resistant nylon shell with fleece lining, style to be as mutually agreed between the Union and Management. Employees in all divisions may substitute uniform fluorescent green instead of their division’s designated color for their T-shirts, polo shirts or sweatshirts. Employees may wear shorts, which are to be either blue twill or blue jeans. All shorts will be hemmed; no cut-offs shall be allowed. WORK CLOTHING AND FOOTWEAR a) Clothing Employees will be provided with four sets of Company work clothes which are required to be worn whilst at work. Clothing will be replaced as required on a fair wear-and-tear basis. The laundering and repair of all clothing is each employee’s responsibility.

  • CLOTHING AND EQUIPMENT (a) Employees required by the Employer to wear uniforms will be supplied with an adequate number of uniforms appropriate to the occupation free of cost to Employees. Such items are to remain the property of the Employer and be laundered and maintained by such Employer free of cost to the Employee.

  • Training and Orientation (a) No employee shall be required to work on any job or operate any piece of equipment until he/she has received proper training and instruction.

  • Protective Clothing and Equipment The Employer recognizes the safety concerns of all staff and shall provide all employees whose work requires them to wear protective equipment with the necessary equipment and protective clothing. This committee may make recommendations on such equipment (e.g., gloves, long sleeved gowns, masks, goggles). These shall be maintained and replaced, where necessary, at the Employer's expense. Where the committee recommends the wearing of such protective clothing and equipment, and the Employer implements such recommendation, employees are obligated to comply with such recommendation(s).

  • Safety Footwear 1. The State will provide employees in the classifications listed in Section 7 below, and employees who are currently required to wear safety footwear by Department Work Rules, an allowance of one hundred twenty dollars ($120.00) for replacement of safety footwear.

  • Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment The Government considers operators as fireline personnel who will use and wear specified articles of personal protective equipment.

  • Skidding and Yarding Methods of skid- ding or yarding specified for particular areas, if any, are indicated on Sale Area Map. Outside Clearcutting Units and construction clearings, insofar as ground conditions permit, products shall not be skidded against reserve trees or groups of reproduction and tractors shall be equipped with a winch to facilitate skidding. B6.421 Rigging. Insofar as practicable, needed rigging shall be slung on stumps or trees desig- nated for cutting.

  • Felling and Bucking Felling shall be done to minimize breakage of Included Timber and dam- age to residual timber. Unless agreed otherwise, felling shall be done by saws or shears. Bucking shall be done to permit removal of all minimum pieces set forth in A2. Purchaser may buck out cull material when necessary to produce pieces meeting Utilization Standards. Such bucked out material shall contain a minimum amount of sound wood, not in excess of the net scale in percentage of gross scale, or based on the merchantability factor, whichever is stated in A2. If necessary to assess extent of defect, Purchaser shall make sample saw cuts or wedges. B6.411 Felling in Clearings. Insofar as ground conditions, tree lean, and shape of clearings per- mit, trees shall be felled so that their tops do not extend outside Clearcutting Units, construction clearings, and ar- eas of regeneration cutting. B6.000 Xxxxx Xxxxxxx. Stumps shall not exceed, on the side adjacent to the highest ground, the maximum heights set forth in A6, except that occasional stumps of greater heights are acceptable when Purchaser determines that they are necessary for safe and efficient conduct of logging. Unless otherwise agreed, Purchaser shall re-cut high stumps so they will not exceed heights specified in A6 and shall dispose of severed portions in the same manner as other logging debris. The xxxxx heights shown in A6 were selected with the objective of maximum reasonable utilization of the timber, unless Sale Area Map shows special areas where xxxxx heights are lower for aesthetic, land treatment, or silvicultural rea- sons.

  • Footwear Where an employee is required by the College or by legislation, in order to perform his/her duties, to acquire and wear protective footwear, the employee shall provide the College with proof of purchase by March 1 each year and the College shall reimburse such employee, on the first pay day in April in each year, up to a maximum of one hundred and fifty dollar ($150.00). In situations other than the foregoing, the College may, in its discretion, (which discretion shall not be unreasonably exercised) reimburse such expense where it is recommended by the health and safety committee constituted under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.

  • Child Care A. Employees employed as of March 1 who meet the following criteria shall be eligible for a lump sum payment each year. Eligible employees may apply for this payment between March 1 and April 15 of each year. Payment shall be made within thirty (30) days of receipt of the completed application. Any application received after April 15 will be considered on a case by case basis and shall not be arbitrarily rejected.

  • Training and Technical Assistance COALITION will notify PROVIDER of the availability of training, technical assistance, and other targeted assistance in support of the provision of quality VPK services. COALITION will offer technical assistance for providers on probation. The technical assistance will be designed to facilitate the development and implementation of an improvement plan. The technical assistance will be offered in a manner and schedule prescribed by the COALITION or school district.
