Work carried out on remote job sites, in the Xxxxx Bay region and on construction projects north of the 55th parallel including the Great Whale project:
Work carried out on remote job sites and in the Xxxxx Bay region, with the exception of heavy industry work: Subsections 1) and 3) of this article and Articles 19.02 and 19.03 do not apply to employees working on these job sites. Regardless of the preceding paragraph, between May 1 and October 31, an employee may, further to an agreement with the employer, take 1 additional week of vacation following the leave without pay provided for in Article 23.13.

Work carried out on a RDO after transferring that scheduled RDO day to another day as outlined above, will be paid at ordinary rates. If however, a person is requested to work on his allocated RDO due to workplace commitments and by mutual agreement, that day can be paid out. In this situation the day worked in lieu of the RDO will be paid at the appropriate penalty rates.
Work carried out in performance of this Contract and the intermediate and final results thereof, as well as all copyright and other intellectual property rights arising from such work and results shall be the sole property of the Association, which may use or dispose of it as it sees fit.

  • Work Year The full-time work year for all employees employed in EA and ECE job classes shall be a minimum of 194 work days to correspond with the school year calendar.

  • Work Shift The hours an employee is scheduled to work each workday in a workweek.

  • HOURS OF WORK AND WORKING CONDITIONS 16.01 The following paragraph is intended to define the normal hours of work and shall not be construed as a guarantee of hours of work per day, or per week, or of days of work per week.

  • Work Week The work week will begin at 12:00 a.m. on Sunday and end at 11:59 p.m. the following Saturday.

  • Work Day/Work Week 1. The work week shall consist of five (5) consecutive days Monday through Friday of no more than eight (8) hours per day and no more than forty (40) hours per work week. This shall not restrict the extension of the employee’s usual and customary workday or workweek when such is necessary to carry on the business of the School District. Employees who actually work more than forty (40) hours per week will receive overtime pay (time-and-a-half).

  • Work Site Work site shall be defined as a college campus or any other place designated by management where instruction and/or services are performed.
