Work by the County Sample Clauses

Work by the County. County may perform additional work related to the Project by itself, or it may let other direct Contracts therefore. Contractor shall afford the other Contractors who are parties to such direct contracts (or County, if it is performing the additional work itself) reasonable opportunity for the introduction and storage of materials and equipment for the execution of Work, and shall properly connect and coordinate its Work with theirs.

Work by the County. In the event that the Contractor is unable, or unwilling to perform applications as directed by the County, the County reserves the right to perform such Work as is necessary to complete the Work. The Contractor shall not be paid for any portion of Work performed by the County under this provision and shall have no claim or right against against the County for losses or other damages resulting from the County’s performance of the Work

  • Termination by the City 96.1. In addition to termination pursuant to any other article of this Contract, the Commissioner may, at any time, terminate this Contract by written notice to the Contractor. In the event of termination, the Contractor shall, upon receipt of such notice, unless otherwise directed by the Commissioner:

  • TERMINATION BY THE CONTRACTOR If the Work is stopped for a period of thirty days under an order of any court or other public authority having jurisdiction, or as a result of an act of government, such as a declaration of a national emergency making materials unavailable, through no act or fault of the Contractor or a Subcontractor or their agents or employees or any other persons performing any of the Work under a contract with the Contractor, or if the Work should be stopped for a period of thirty days by the Contractor because the Architect has not issued a Certificate for Payment as provided in Paragraph 9.7 of these General Conditions or because the State has not made payment thereon as provided in Paragraph 9.7, then the Contractor may, upon seven additional days written notice to the State and the Architect, terminate the Contract and recover from the State payment for all Work executed and for any proven loss sustained upon any materials, equipment, tools, construction equipment and machinery, including reasonable profit and damages.

  • Release by the Contractor The acceptance by the Contractor of final payment shall release NYSERDA from all claims and liability that the Contractor, its representatives and assigns might otherwise have relating to this Agreement.

  • Action by the Superintendent The Superintendent shall determine which of the alternative courses of action is proper and shall take appropriate action to implement such determination.

  • Termination by the Company This Agreement may be terminated by the Company at any time prior to the Effective Time:

  • Modification by the Parties The Parties may by mutual agreement amend the Appendices to this Agreement, by a written instrument duly executed by all three of the Parties. Such an amendment shall become effective and a part of this Agreement upon satisfaction of all Applicable Laws and Regulations.

  • Termination by the State The State or commissioner of Administration may cancel this Professional and Technical Services Master Contract and any Work Authorizations at any time, with or without cause, upon 30 days’ written notice to the Contractor. Upon termination, the Contractor will be entitled to payment, determined on a pro rata basis, for services satisfactorily performed.
