WORK BY SUPERVISORS. Supervisors and all other excluded employees will not work on any job for which rates are established by this agreement, except for the purpose of instruction, experimenting, safety or environ- mental reasons or when regular employees are not available.
WORK BY SUPERVISORS. 4.01 Supervisors and all other supervisory employees above the rank of supervisor are not eligible for membership in the union and shall not perform the regular work of an employee in the bargaining units defined in sections 2.01, 2.02, 2.03, and 2.04. However, a supervisory employee may perform operations where an emergency arises and he/she may also perform operations for purposes of investigation, inspection, experiment, information or instruction as may be necessary in the discharge of his/her supervisory duties, provided that the act of performing the aforementioned operations, in itself, does not reduce the hours of work or pay of any employee.
WORK BY SUPERVISORS. 9.01 Supervisors and other excluded employees will not perform bargaining unit work except in the case of an emergency or to provide training.
WORK BY SUPERVISORS. No supervisor shall perform work normally done by employees in the Bargaining Unit, except for the purpose of instruction, experimentation, inspection, or in an emergency.
WORK BY SUPERVISORS. The parties recognize the need to properly support team members in the performance of their duties. To achieve necessary levels of support, supervision and other excluded team members must understand the work performed by represented team members. However, it is recognized by the parties that supervisors and other excluded team members shall not displace any represented team members through the performance or support of their duties.
WORK BY SUPERVISORS. 3.01 Supervisors and non-bargaining employees up to and including part-time and/or temporary office staff shall not perform bargaining unit work except for the purposes of:
WORK BY SUPERVISORS. It is recognized that the duties of a Supervisor are as the designation implies, largely of a supervisory nature. Accordingly, supervisors shall not normally perform manual labor, such as that performed by the employees as herein defined, except:
WORK BY SUPERVISORS. It shall not be a violation of this agreement for supervisors or other non-bargaining unit employees to perform bargaining unit work consistent with employer’s past practices, for training, in emergencies, or when a qualified bargaining unit employee is not readily available.
WORK BY SUPERVISORS. The Employer agrees that non-bargaining unit personnel shall not perform work covered by this agreement. It is nonetheless recognized that the Employer may need to assign work to such non-bargaining unit supervisory personnel on a emergency basis. Hours worked by non-unit supervisors in performance of unit work are not compensable hours for purposes of Employer Trust contributions (i.e., the Employer is not obligated to make contributions on such hours worked by non-unit supervisors).
WORK BY SUPERVISORS. 19.01 Supervisors and persons above the rank of supervisor shall not be assigned to perform duties which are regularly assigned to employees within the bargaining unit, but may be used in case of emergency or under unusual conditions.
