Work Authorization Program. The Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 prohibits employers from knowingly hiring illegal workers. Provider shall only employ individuals who may legally work in the United States (U.S.) – either U.S. citizens or foreign citizens who are authorized to work in the U.S. Provider shall use the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s E-Verify Employment Eligibility Verification system, xxxxx://x- xxxxxx.xxxxx.xxx/xxx, to verify the employment eligibility of all new employees hired during the term of the Agreement and shall also include a requirement in its subcontracts that the subcontractor utilize the E-Verify system to verify the employment eligibility of all new employees hired by the subcontractor performing work or providing services pursuant to the Agreement.
