Work Assignment Hours. Unless otherwise noted in writing and attached to this document, you are contractually obligated to the university, college, or department to which you are assigned during the period of the appointment. The assistantship requires that the Graduate Student works no more than 19 hours per week for period indicated above. Supervisors should take the student’s course load into account when setting their weekly work hours. The faculty supervisor will provide assignments to be completed in a timely manner. Regular meetings between the faculty supervisor and the Graduate Student should take place to assess progress on the project and for the Graduate Student to receive any new assignments. The supervisor will submit an evaluation of the quality and outcome of the project and completed work at the end of the term and will provide documentation of the number of hours devoted to the project by the graduate assistants. While working as a graduate assistant you may not be employed in any other position within the University System of Georgia.

  • Work Assignment 1. It is understood that the assignment of work to purchased services does not convey a right to such work in the future, nor does it create any precedent with respect to future assignment of such work to purchased service employees by the employer.

  • Work Assignments Section 1. The Company shall determine whether to staff a position or fill a vacancy and the method or combination of methods it shall use for such purposes. In making this determination, the Company shall first give consideration to qualified laid off employees with applications on file in accordance with Article 14 Section 7 of this Agreement and then internal candidates prior to off-street applicants. All vacancies within the Bargaining Unit shall be posted (manually or electronically) in locations where Bargaining Unit employees regularly work. The posting shall include the title, wage range, and sufficient information regarding requirements and duties to adequately describe the vacancy. The vacancy shall remain posted for seven (7) calendar days which shall be spread between two (2) workweeks.

  • ASSIGNMENT/SUBCONTRACT Contractor will not assign, sell, transfer, subcontract or sublet rights, or delegate responsibilities under this contract, in whole or in part, without the prior written approval of SUU.

The Commissioner reserves the right to reject any proposed subcontractor, assignee or supplier for bona fide business reasons, which may include, but are not limited to: that the proposed transferee is on the Department of Labor’s list of companies with which New York State cannot do business; the Commissioner determines that the company is not qualified; unsatisfactory contract performance or service has been previously provided; or attempts were not made to solicit minority and women’s business enterprises (M/WBE) bidders for the subcontract.

  • ASSIGNMENT/SUB-CONTRACTING The Contractor agrees that he will not sell, assign or transfer this Agreement or any part thereof or interest therein without the prior written consent of the Owner.

  • Assignment; Subcontracting (a) Except as expressly provided in Section 12(b) below, this Agreement shall not be assignable or delegable, whether by merger, operation of law or otherwise, by any Fund without the written consent of BNY Mellon, or by BNY Mellon without the written consent of the affected Fund, in each case which consent may not be unreasonably withheld. This Agreement shall extend to and shall be binding upon the Parties hereto, and their permitted successors and assigns.

Contractor remains legally responsible for the performance of all contract terms including work performed by third parties under subcontracts. Any subcontracting will be subject to all applicable provisions of this Agreement. Contractor shall be held responsible by County for the performance of any subcontractor whether approved by County or not. Contractor hereby assigns to the County all rights, title, and interest in and to all causes of action it may have under Section 4 of the Xxxxxxx Act (15 U.S.C. Sec. 15) or under the Xxxxxxxxxx Act (Chapter 2 (commencing with Section 16700) of Part 2 of Division 7 of the Business and Professions Code), arising from the purchase if goods, materials, or services by the Contractor for sale to the County pursuant to this Agreement.
