Work and Family. This alternative arrangement is not to be viewed as a substitute for family care arrangements. Employee will make family care arrangements for the times he or she is scheduled to perform work for UNO. Work and Family. 42.01 Funding for the Work and Family Committee during the term of this 2012 MOU will be a total of $6.0 million (i.e., $1.5 million per contract year which includes funding for 2011). This funding will be allocated between CWA NY/NE and IBEW NY 2213. Any funds contributed by the Companies for these committees that have not been expended by the end of the contract term will be returned to the Companies. The Fund shall be administered through the Verizon New York Inc. Regional Work and Family Committee which shall establish written guidelines for reimbursement. In addition to providing subsidies for employees who incur costs for approved child and/or elder care and for expansion of the Kids in the Workplace Program, the fund may also be used to pay for other Work and Family projects as may be authorized by the Work and Family Committee.

Funding will be provided annually on or about August 2 of each year in the amount on one million four hundred thousand dollars ($1,400,000) during the term of this 2016 MOU (which will include funding for the period from August 2015 to August 2016). This funding will be allocated between CWA NY/NE and IBEW NY 2213. There will be no WFC funding contribution in the year that this MOU expires. Any funds contributed by the Companies for this committee that has not been expended by the original scheduled expiration date of the 2016 MOU, will be returned to the Companies, excepts as required to satisfy bills and charges prior to that date. This end, the company confirms that it will: Take into account the Employee’s family responsibilities when rostering work hours, Allow the Employee to make reasonable, short, personal telephone calls from work, and Be receptive to Employee requests to take leave during school holiday periods, where the demands of the business permit such flexibility.
Work and Family. The parties acknowledge that the aims of efficiency, effectiveness and equity can be furthered by increased flexibility and improvements in working arrangements. Further, the parties support the implementation of ILO Convention 156 - “Workers with Family Responsibilities” and therefore agree that addressing the needs of such workers while enhancing organisational flexibility is a priority for the parties to this Agreement. In order to assist employees with family responsibilities, the parties reinforce their commitment to initiatives established under previous agreements, including permanent part- time work.,

Consistent with this principle, the parties will review women’s participation in the workforce and specifically women’s employment experience at Ford to ensure current and potential women employees regard Ford as an employer of choice. • The parties have agreed to the importance of fostering an environment, which recognises the diverse needs of all employees, allowing them to contribute their maximum at work while at the same time fulfilling their personal and family responsibilities.
Work and Family. Paid Parental leave • Up to three weeks of paid leave for new parents for use within 12 months of the birth or placement for adoption of a child or children occurring on or after January 1, 2020. GE Educational Loan Program changes • Maximum of one new loan (lifetime), maximum dollar limit remains $8,000 for employees and their dependents and it must be repaid within eight years. • Eligibility for a new loan will end for employees once notified of a disposition, permanent reduction in force or a plant closing announced on or after January 1, 2020.
