Witness General. An employee who is requested by CANADA to appear as a witness before an arbitrator, arbitration board, or the Canada Industrial Relations Board, or any of its constituent bodies, will be granted leave with pay to attend the hearing and appear as a witness if called. Elected Union Officials With reasonable notice from the employee in writing that has been elected to serve as a full-time elected official, CANADA will grant leave without pay to the employee for the term of the appointment with no loss of seniority. Upon termination of his or her position with the the employee shall be entitled to resume employment with CANADA at a salary he or she was paid at the time of leaving, plus any increases granted in the interim. The location of the position shall be determined by mutual agreement. The period of leave granted shall be counted as continuous service or continuous employment for the purposes of calculating severance pay, vacation leave, pay increments and seniority. An employee granted leave under clause shall continue to receive regular salary for period of leave granted, subject to the reimbursing CANADA for all associated costs.

Upon prior Written request the Local, an employee on leave without pay under Articles and of less than three (3) consecutive months will continue to receive regular salary and benefits for the period of leave granted, subject to the Local reimbursing CANADA for the employee’s salary. If the leave is expected to be three (3) consecutive months or greater, Article and shall apply.

  • Form of Agreement and Reporting If a vendor submitting an offer requires TIPS and/or TIPS Member to sign an additional agreement, a copy of the proposed agreement must be included with the proposal to the TIPS Member. TIPS does not require a review a TIPS Member’s Job Order contract TYPE AIA or other similar Contract provided by the TIPS Member. This clause does not relieve the Vendor from the responsibility to report the contract execution and the amount of the contract and any change orders.

  • PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY CLAUSE In the interest of safe patient care and safe nursing practice, the parties agree to the following problem solving process to address employee concerns relative to patient care including:
