Withholding of Increments. An increment may be withheld if in the employer’s opinion an ASM’s performance over the previous year has been unsatisfactory. The employer will notify the ASM of the decision and the reasons for it.

Withholding of Increments. It is recognized that the Board may withhold salary increments if it can demonstrate that its decision is not arbitrary, capricious, or unreasonable.

Where applicable the administrator may request of the superintendent an additional evaluation, which will then be discussed with the administrator. If withholding of increment is recommended, the Superintendent will present the Administrator with a written copy of his recommendation. Prior to the week of April 1st, the Administrator will be given an opportunity to discuss the recommendation with the Superintendent within five (5) school days of such recommendation. The contents of evaluations shall be kept confidential from students, parents or at any public gathering.
