Withholding of Increments. An increment may be withheld if in the employer’s opinion an ASM’s performance over the previous year has been unsatisfactory. The employer will notify the ASM of the decision and the reasons for it.
Withholding of Increments. It is recognized that the Board may withhold salary increments if it can demonstrate that its decision is not arbitrary, capricious, or unreasonable.

Withholding of Increments. It shall be clearly understood by all custodial employees that negotiated salary schedules or individual contracts do not guarantee an automatic salary increase. The Board reserves the right to withhold for inefficiency or good cause, any and all employment adjustment and merit increments. In the event the Board wishes to exercise such a right, it does hereby agree to follow this procedure.
Withholding of Increments. The employer may decline to pay an increment in salary to any lecturer whose work for the previous year has, in the opinion of the employer, been unsatisfactory. The employer shall notify the lecturer concerned of the decision and the reasons for it.
Withholding of Increments. The granting of any salary increment and/or adjustment, as set forth in the salary schedule shall not be deemed automatic. The withholding of any salary increment and/ or adjustment for inefficiency or other good cause shall be governed by the provisions of N.J.S.A. 18A: 29-14. A recommendation to withhold increment shall not be made to the Board of Education unless the Administrator shall have received a minimum of three written evaluations spaced at least 20 days apart. Where applicable the administrator may request of the superintendent an additional evaluation, which will then be discussed with the administrator. If withholding of increment is recommended, the Superintendent will present the Administrator with a written copy of his recommendation. Prior to the week of April 1st, the Administrator will be given an opportunity to discuss the recommendation with the Superintendent within five (5) school days of such recommendation. The contents of evaluations shall be kept confidential from students, parents or at any public gathering.
Withholding of Increments. The Board may withhold the annual increment or any part thereof for any staff member whose services the Board deems unsatisfactory. The Board has the sole power of judgment in cases of this nature.
Withholding of Increments. Where in the opinion of the employer the work of an adviser for the previous year has been unsatisfactory an increment may be withheld. The adviser concerned shall be notified of the decision and the reasons for it.
