Winter Maintenance. The OWNER agrees that the TOWN will not be responsible for winter maintenance until the TOWN has issued a Certificate of Completion of Maintenance of Services. Until such time, the OWNER agrees to provide winter maintenance and garbage collection at his sole expense. However, the TOWN may at its sole discretion, and at the request of the OWNER provide winter maintenance of the roads, provided the OWNER agrees to pay to the TOWN, the cost of such winter maintenance.

Winter Maintenance. 11.4.1 The Developer is responsible for completing snow removal and sanding of the roads and sidewalks within the Plan until the Overall Occupancy Certificate has been issued.
Winter Maintenance. During adverse weather conditions i.e. ice and snow, the Council will undertake footway gritting in accordance with its annual Winter Service Plan allocating resources to the Priority 1F routes initially. The road network within the demise area will similarly be gritted in accordance with the Winter Service Plan with those roads identified within the Priority 1 network receiving advance precautionary treatment to keep traffic flowing, Priority 2 routes will receive treatment as and when resources permit after completion of the Priority 1 treatment. The scope of each priority network (for both footways and roads) will be reviewed annually by the Council.

Winter Maintenance. Except as provided elsewhere in this Agreement, the City shall, at its own Cost, undertake all required Winter Maintenance on the Public Highways in accordance with the service levels as provided in the Minimum Maintenance Standards for Highways in the City of Toronto, Ontario Regulation 612/06, as amended or replaced from time to time, and the City’s annual winter maintenance program, and any additional Winter Maintenance required by the TTC shall be carried out by it, at its Cost, with the prior approval of the Transportation Services General Manager.
Winter Maintenance. It is agreed that those employees who are required to be on call for Saturday and Sunday shall be paid standby pay at a rate of fifty dollars ($50.00) per day and a minimum of three (3) hours pay if required to work at the applicable rate as set out in this Agreement. Any employee scheduled to have Saturday or Sunday off or on standby for either or both of those days who is subsequently called into work on the Saturday or Sunday shall be paid for time worked on the Saturday at time and one-half (1-1/2) and on Sunday at double time (2) for a minimum of three (3) hours on either or both, as the case may be, of such days work. The Town or its designate shall call those employees who are on call should they require employees to work before other employees are called into work. It is understood that this provision applies to Winter Road Maintenance operations only. The stand-by fee and pay for any hours worked pursuant to this provision will be paid via regular payroll in the pay period in which the stand-by fee is earned. Such payments shall be less all deductions required by law.
Winter Maintenance. RBK has a statutory duty to provide responsive measures to keep the Highways and footpaths of the borough safe in extreme winter weather conditions. If forecasted conditions require, Contractors are directed to load up vehicles with salt and street sweepers are taken off street cleansing duties to deal with snow & ice. Highway and footpaths are gritted. Schools, Hospitals, Retail areas and primary routes are prioritised.

Winter Maintenance. Prior to winter, wrap all exposed pipes and faucets, disconnect outside hoses. Tenant shall remove any snow from the abutting sidewalks and walkways to insure the safety of the public. Be sure to be aware of where your water shut off valves are to said premises. DO NOT TURN THE HEAT OFF FOR ANY REASON!
