Winter Conditions. Tenants agree to and understand it is absolutely imperative that Heat settings be set no lower than 55 degrees during the winter months, especially whenever the premises are vacant for an extended period of time, such as Christmas break. Tenants must remove hoses from the spigots in the fall and they must remain detached until May. In case of sprinkler system (checked below), tenants agree to regular adjust timer for efficient use of water, have the system winterized to avoid freezing and accepts financial responsibility if damage occurs as a result of not winterizing the system. The Tenant will be held responsible for 100% of the cost of repairing any damage incurred due to the Tenants negligence to adhere to this provision. Tenants are responsible for their own snow shovel, snow removal and any injuries or damage to property related directly or indirectly to the removal or non-removal of snow and ice. In the event of a broken pipe inside or outside where water can or could be leaking, the tenant is responsible for immediately turning the main shut-off valves to the closed position and calling the landlord immediately. Damages occurred by the failing to shut-off the water are understood to be the responsibility of the tenant due to negligence.

Winter Conditions. The Company will meet with the Union, when requested, to discuss the problem of severe winter conditions and their effect on employees while working inside the store. The Company will implement reasonable, effective and economical changes, within the existing design and engineering of the buildings, to resolve this issue. Employees will have the option of purchasing a Company provided outer wear at a cost of twenty ($20) dollars that they may wear at their discretion.
Winter Conditions. Guests are notified that this home is in a mountain location where winter conditions may apply. Walkways, driveways, sidewalks, stairs, etc. may be slippery due to ice and snow. These areas may be slippery even when they do not appear to be. It is advised that caution be used. Please step carefully on all outdoor surfaces.
