Winter Break Housing. For safety and security reasons, and because the University is officially closed during a portion of the winter holiday period, University apartments and residence halls are closed from December 15, 2012, through January 11, 2013. The Residence Life Center is closed and mail service is held from December 19, 2012, through January 7, 2013. Students wishing to stay during the winter break period must pay a $150 fee, sign up by Friday, December 7, 2012 (online or at the Housing and Residence Life Center), and provide a compelling reason for needing to remain in housing during the break period. Approvals have included requests such as involvement in University-sponsored events, international residency, etc. residents with permanent addresses in Vanderburgh (in), xxxxxxx (in), Henderson (KY), white (il), gallatin (il), Xxxxx (in), or xxxxxx (in) counties are not eligible to stay for the winter break. Students who apply for a winter break extension after December 8, 2012, will be charged $50. Students who are discovered living on campus without authorization during the winter break will be charged $300 and face disciplinary action. Summer Housing University housing is available during the summer terms. Students wishing to reside in summer housing must do the following: • Be enrolled in at least three hours each summer session and maintain this enrollment • Fill out a Summer Housing and Residence Life Contract (available April 1, 2013) • Adhere to all policies and procedures as outlined in the 2012- 2013 Housing/Food Services Booklet contract, and it also applies to the next term! • Relocate to the designated summer housing area within 48 hours of being reassigned by the Housing and Residence Life Office Accommodations for students with disabilities Housing and Residence Life is committed to providing access and opportunity for all students. The University complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act and will attempt to provide reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities. Room and roommate assignments can be modified at the discretion of the director. In order for USI to serve you better, please do the following:
Winter Break Housing. On campus residents that are faced with catastrophic hardship have the opportunity to apply to stay during the winter break period. All students that are approved to stay will be required to pay the nightly fee. If a student is found on campus that is not approved they will be fined $250 plus the nightly rate for the days they have been on campus. This applies to all students residing in the residence halls (Banning Hall, Xxxxxx Xxxx, and Methodist Hall). Cokesbury Apartment Residents that are registered for the Spring term are permitted to stay over the break but must register through the registration form. If a student has been approved to be on campus for winter athletics, or for academic purposes approved by the academic department the student will not be charged to stay over the break.

  • Winter Break The Resident may apply to occupy a Room during the Winter Break period as detailed in Table 2. Winter Break applications will be made available to Residents by the Manager. Applications are due on or before December 1 at 5:00 p.m. If the Resident’s application is approved, they may be required to pay a small fee (detailed in Table 2) for Winter Break occupancy before the beginning of the Winter Break. During the Winter Break there is limited supervision of the Residence, all services are reduced or suspended, and annual maintenance and renovations may occur. To ensure the safety and security of the Resident and the Residence facilities it is the intention of the Manager to limit the number of Residents staying during the Winter Break to a small number of individuals that demonstrate a significant need for Residence accommodations. If the Resident is found occupying a Room during the Winter Break without having given written notice to the Manager, the Resident shall be subject to $30.00 for each day during the Winter Break period or $200.00 for the entire Winter Break, due immediately.   • Coffee Breaks The Company will provide two (2) fifteen (15) minute coffee breaks during each work day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

  • H3 Break H3.1 The Authority shall have the right to terminate the Contract at any time by giving three (3) Months’ written notice to the Contractor. The Authority may extend the period of notice at any time before it expires, subject to agreement on the level of Services to be provided by the Contractor during the period of extension.

  • Tea Breaks (a) Every employee will be entitled to a paid 10 minute tea break in each four hours worked at a time to be agreed between the employee and employer.

  • Commercial Operation Date Testing and Modifications Prior to the Commercial Operation Date, the Connecting Transmission Owner shall test the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Attachment Facilities and System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades and Developer shall test the Large Generating Facility and the Developer Attachment Facilities to ensure their safe and reliable operation. Similar testing may be required after initial operation. Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner shall each make any modifications to its facilities that are found to be necessary as a result of such testing. Developer shall bear the cost of all such testing and modifications. Developer shall generate test energy at the Large Generating Facility only if it has arranged for the injection of such test energy in accordance with NYISO procedures.

  • PREVAILING WAGE RATES - PUBLIC WORKS AND BUILDING SERVICES CONTRACTS If any portion of work being Bid is subject to the prevailing wage rate provisions of the Labor Law, the following shall apply:

  • Union Activity on Premises and/or Access to Premises The Union agrees that neither it, nor its officers, agents, representatives and members will engage in the solicitation of members, holding of meetings or any other Union activities on Hospital premises or on Hospital time without the prior approval of the Hospital, except as specifically provided for in this Agreement. Such approval will not be unreasonably denied.

  • CONDITIONS FOR EMERGENCY/HURRICANE OR DISASTER - TERM CONTRACTS It is hereby made a part of this Invitation for Bids that before, during and after a public emergency, disaster, hurricane, flood, or other acts of God that Orange County shall require a “first priority” basis for goods and services. It is vital and imperative that the majority of citizens are protected from any emergency situation which threatens public health and safety, as determined by the County. Contractor agrees to rent/sell/lease all goods and services to the County or other governmental entities as opposed to a private citizen, on a first priority basis. The County expects to pay contractual prices for all goods or services required during an emergency situation. Contractor shall furnish a twenty-four (24) hour phone number in the event of such an emergency.

  • Christmas Break The break between Christmas and New Year’s shall be accountable time for all faculty and shall not require attendance on campus. In areas of the University that must, by the nature of their work, operate on a more or less continuous basis, such as the Libraries, Admissions or Counselling, the administrator responsible on consultation collectively with all available regular and non-regular type 2 members in division, shall recommend to the employer suitable levels of operation to be maintained during this break.
