Who do We pay Benefits to. If the policy has been assigned, the Benefit amount will be paid to the Assignee. If the policy has not been assigned, the Benefit amount will be paid to either You or Your executors, administrators, Nominees or any other Proper claimant if We have proof of the relationship of the person claiming the Benefit. Before We pay any Benefit, We will deduct any amount You owe on this policy from the Benefit. By paying out the Benefit, it will end Our legal responsibility on this policy.
