Where Christmas Day is a Saturday or Sunday, a holiday in lieu thereof shall be observed on 27 December.

Where Christmas Day. Boxing Day, New Years Day or Australia Day fall on weekends, the public holiday and associated penalties will apply on the actual day of the holiday that is Saturday or Sunday and there will be no day recognised for such payment in lieu. This provision will remain in force for the period of time that the All Purpose wage agreement continues.
Where Christmas Day. Boxing Day, New Years Day, Australia Day, or Anzac Day fall on a Saturday or Sunday, and a day is substituted, the Saturday or Sunday for which substitution is made will be deemed not to be a holiday.
Where Christmas Day and New Year's Day fall on a Sunday and the holiday is observed on Monday, an employee working on the day observed as the holiday shall be paid, in addition to holiday pay, time and one-half for time worked.   • Christmas Day Easter Tuesday shall be observed as a Public Holiday in lieu of Easter Saturday and any work performed on Easter Saturday shall be paid at ordinary Saturday penalty rates. Should Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day, Australia Day or ANZAC day fall on a weekend, the following Monday, or other day as agreed shall be taken in lieu.

  • Overtime on a Holiday (a) Where an Employee is required to work overtime on a paid holiday, as defined in Article 18.01, she will receive compensation equal to 3.33 times her regular rate as follows:

  • CHRISTMAS BONUS 16.01 All part-time employees on the payroll of the Company as of December 1st in any year who have completed six (6) months' continuous service with the Company shall be entitled to a Christmas Bonus of fifteen ($l5.00) dollars payable on or before December 15th.

  • Holidays Falling on Saturday or Sunday (a) For an employee whose workweek is from Monday to Friday and when any of the above-noted holidays fall on a Saturday and is not proclaimed as observed on some other day, the following Monday shall be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement; and when a holiday falls on a Sunday and it is not proclaimed as being observed on some other day, the following Monday (or Tuesday, where the preceding section already applies to the Monday), shall be deemed to be the holiday for the purpose of this agreement.

  • Day Unless otherwise stated, reference to the terms "day," "days," "month," or "months" mean calendar day, calendar days, calendar month, and calendar months, respectively.
