Well Disinfection. Unless otherwise stated, the Vendor shall use the following procedure to disinfect well and that the Vendor shall perform and assist District's Staff with disinfection and pump startup as described hereafter and as necessary to achieve well disinfection:
Well Disinfection. After wire brushing and removal of debris, the well shall be disinfected with a chlorine solution. Unless otherwise permitted, Vendor shall use the following procedure to disinfect the well:
Well Disinfection. KGI wil7l provide full-time inspection services during final disinfection of the well structure to verify that suitable chemicals, concentrations, and methods of mixing and emplacement are employed.
Well Disinfection. Disinfection of the borehole shall be carried out by the service provider before demobilization from the site. This shall be done by placing a chlorine solution into the well so that a concentration of at least 50 mg/l of available chlorine exists in all parts of the borehole at static conditions. All the borehole surfaces above the static water level shall be completely flushed with the solution. The solution shall remain in the borehole for a minimum of 2 hours before pumping the borehole to waste.
