Welds Sample Clauses

Welds. For the building attachment parts (product group 7), the weld thickness required for assembly are given by the program. This ‘minimum weld thickness’ is designed such that the permissible tensions are only exploited to 50% in favor of high safety. A force applied at 6° in the weld was taken as a basis for the design. The weld thicknesses can be changed later if you enter N.

Welds. The mass of shop and field fillet welds shall be assumed as follows: Size of Weld (mm) kg per linear metre 6.3 0.984 7.9 1.213 9.5 1.771 12.7 2.690 5.9 3.936 19.0 5.379 22.2 7.314 25.4 9.774 The mass of other welds will be computed on the basis of the theoretical volume from dimensions of the welds, with an addition of 50 mass percent as an allowance for overrun.
Welds. Pipeline joints will be welded by qualified welders following written welding procedures specifying the methods for welding all required pipeline joints. Welding procedures and pipeline welders will be qualified in accordance with API Standard 1104. The procedures will be submitted to the EFSEC and WUTC for approval prior to construction. These procedures will include methods for welding all required pipeline joints. During construction, welder qualification records will be available as required by 49 C.F.R. § 192.227, and will include a Coupon Test Report.
Welds. 100% of the welds shall be inspected radiographically, by a qualified radiographer. Any defects found in welds shall be replaced or repaired. All repaired welds shall be radiographed again to ensure their integrity.

Welds. V-shape weld (1517-T105EE-2G-GA); • Weld repair (1774-T248A). Each sample is further identified by its unique number. The 1618-B359-B1 is a nickel based alloy (Inconel 600) mock-up, that has 4 side-drilled holes (SDH) (d = 2mm) and 2 flat-bottom holes (FBH) (d = 4mm and 8mm). The average grain size of the mock-up is 90 µm. D522-TG is a coarse grained stainless steel, cast autenoferritic mock-up that possess 5 SDH (d = 0.5 mm) and 5 SDH (d = 1mm), that are located close to surface of the sample. 1517-T105EE-2G-GA is a U chamfer, shielded metal manual arc weld with 30 welding passes. It possesses no disorientation in the welding direction and high disorientation of the average grain tilt. 2 SDH (d = 1.5 mm) are located the middle of the weld at different depths. 1774-T248A is a weld cladding repair mock-up, made from Ni based alloy. It has homogeneous microstructure and quasi-vertical grains. Slight grain disorientation at chamfers. The sample has 4 SDH (d = 2 mm), 4 vertical notches and 5 tilted notches. The technical drawings of the selected mock-ups are presented in Annex 4. This methodology was created assuming that the samples listed above will be used for quantification of imaging algorithm performance. Other samples can be used as well, however they should possess parameters close to the ones listed above.
