Web Beacons. Riskonnect uses web beacons alone or in conjunction with cookies to compile information about Customers and Visitors’ usage of Riskonnect’s web sites and interaction with emails from Riskonnect. Web beacons are clear electronic images that can recognize certain types of information on your computer, such as cookies, when you viewed a particular web site tied to the web beacon, and a description of a web site tied to the web beacon. For example, Riskonnect may place web beacons in marketing emails that notify Riskonnect when you click on a link in the email that directs you to one of Riskonnect’s web sites. Riskonnect uses web beacons to operate and improve Riskonnect’s web sites and email communications.
Web Beacons. Advertiser understands and agrees that AOL may use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and/or other technologies (collectively, the “Web Beacons”) on the Advertiser sites to collect non-personally identifiable information in connection with this Agreement (the “Non-PII”) including but not limited to (i) for general reporting purposes, including the compilation of statistics, such as the total number of ads delivered, that may be provided to existing and potential customers; (ii) for scheduling and optimization of programming, promotions, and other activities associated with this Agreement, (iii) for tracking of user registration, geographic, behavioral, demographic, transactional, and other derived data, and (iv) if required by court order, law, or governmental agency. Data from web beacons may be collected by NWEA using Google Analytics™ or other third-party tools in the Assessment System. Web Beacons. The Licensed Software uses web beacons, also known as single pixel or clear GIFS, to provide statistical, non-personally identifying information to help analyze product usage, such as the frequency of use of particular parts of the Licensed Software site in your organization. The data collected helps Symantec learn what information is of most interest to Symantec’s customers and the features used by users of the Licensed Software. If you do not want to provide this data to Symantec, you can opt-out of this analysis by (i) disabling JavaScript on your computer, or (ii) un-selecting the check box shown on the Licensed Software User Interface. If you disable JavaScript, some of the features on the Licensed Software User Interface may not work. Except for the email address you or your system administrator have previously provided to Symantec, the information we collect does not identify your users, and there is no correlation made with the parts of the Licensed Software you utilize.
