WATER INTRUSION. Water intrusion is defined as any source of moisture. The following are some of the possible sources of water intrusion in the unit that can be controlled by the RESIDENT: steam from the bath or shower, steam from cooking, a humidifier, constant running of water, house plants that are watered, wet or damp clothing, towels, etc. As noted above, the LANDLORD must be notified of any source of water not under the control of the RESIDENT, i.e. water leaks, toilet running, roof leak, etc. Water intrusions can be a precursor of mold. Mold is a microscopic organism that is found virtually everywhere indoors and outdoors. To prevent mold, water intrusion must be prevented and treated immediately. Therefore, the RESIDENT agrees to make sure they use their best effort to prevent any conditions in the unit that could create an environment conducive to mold growth:

WATER INTRUSION. Contractor acknowledges that the nature of the Work requires appropriate protection and procedures to avoid the intrusion of water in the area where the Work is performed. In this regard, Contractor shall develop and implement appropriate moisture intrusion prevention procedures in connection with the Work, which shall stay in effect until Final Completion. These moisture intrusion procedures shall include measures to prevent and manage the intrusion of water and vapor caused by Contractor’s performance of the Work so that such conditions do not cause mold or other damage to the Work and shall include procedures for responding and remediating actual water intrusion or mold conditions caused by Contractor’s performance of the Work or its failure to protect the Work. Contractor shall employ reasonable methods to discover the presence of leaks. If Contractor discovers water intrusion or mold before, during or after construction of the Work, Contractor shall notify Owner in writing of such condition within forty-eight (48) hours of its discovery and shall provide Owner all inspection reports, testing data, photographs, samples or other materials associated with the investigation or remediation of the water intrusion incident or mold condition. Contractor shall cause any such water intrusion incident or mold condition encountered to be remediated (by separate specialized remedial contractors, in accordance with applicable governmental requirements and standards, including all OSHA requirements concerning the required remediation). Except to the extent any water intrusion or mold remediation costs are excluded from the Cost of the Work under any applicable provisions of Article 7 and/or Article 8 of the Agreement, Contractor’s costs of performing such remediation shall be reimbursed as a Cost of the Work subject to the Guaranteed Maximum Price. The remediation shall be fully documented with respect to the conditions prior to remediation, the activities involved in the remediation and the conditions at the conclusion of remediation, with appropriate field reports, photographs, samples and other information that can be used to confirm and verify appropriate and effective remediation. Contractor shall notify Owner in writing when the remediation is complete, so that Owner can review the affected area and verify completion.

  • Vegetation No trees or other vegetation may be removed from the site without prior approval from the Town, except in accordance with Section 4 above and pursuant to the Annual Plan.

  • Unbundled Loop Concentration (ULC) System 2.5.1 BellSouth will provide to <<customer_name>> Unbundled Loop Concentration (ULC). Loop concentration systems in the central office concentrate the signals transmitted over local loops onto a digital loop carrier system. The concentration device is placed inside a BellSouth central office. BellSouth will offer ULC with a TR008 interface or a TR303 interface.

  • Watering C.10.1. The Contractor shall water lawns, flowers, shrubs, and trees to provide for moisture penetration to a depth of 7 centimeters. If natural precipitation is sufficient to fulfill this requirement, the Contractor may request the COR's permission to suspend watering to avoid too much water in the soil.

  • Erosion and Sediment Control The Contractor shall install and maintain erosion and sediment control devices to prevent adjacent streets, storm drains and property from accumulations of soil, sediment, or dust which result from his work. Devices installed to control sediment and prevent erosion shall comply with the requirements of the Georgia Tech Project Superintendent. The Contractor is responsible for monitoring downstream conditions throughout the construction period and clearing any debris, sediment, and dust caused by the progress of the Work. The Contractor shall inspect, maintain, and clear erosion and sediment control devices at least weekly unless otherwise directed by the Georgia Institute of Technology Construction Manager. At the conclusion of the Work, the Contractor shall remove all installed devices and restoring the site to the satisfaction of the Georgia Tech Construction Manager.

  • Indoor Air Quality The Employer shall ensure a healthful air quality and attempt to ensure comfortable air temperature in buildings it owns and in space that it leases.

  • Wetlands When disposing of excess, soil, or other construction materials on public or private property, Contractor shall not fill in or otherwise convert wetlands.

  • Irrigation The City shall provide water to the Premises for the purpose of irrigating the facility. The City specifically reserves the right to restrict water usage under this Agreement if water restrictions are placed on other water users within the City. Prior to the start of the season, City will provide charge up and run through the automatic irrigation systems to check for proper operation. City will provide Lessee with a radio for remote operation of the irrigation system, which Lessee shall use for the day to day maintenance, repair, and monitoring of the irrigation system. If the radio is lost, stolen, broken, or is rendered unusable, Lessee shall pay $1500 for the replacement radio. City is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the following irrigation elements, to the extent applicable: curb stops, backflow prevention devices, backflow enclosures, main line pipings, electric control valves, and controllers. Lessee shall notify Parks Division Water managers by email if any of these irrigation elements are malfunctioning or broken.

  • Unbundled Sub-Loop Concentration System (USLC 2.9.1 Where facilities permit and where necessary to comply with an effective Commission order, BellSouth will provide <<customer_name>> with the ability to concentrate its sub-loops onto multiple DS1s back to the BellSouth Central Office. The DS1s will then be terminated into <<customer_name>>’s collocation space. TR-008 and TR303 interface standards are available.

  • Unbundled Loop Concentration 2.8.5.1 Upon the Effective Date of this Amendment, the Unbundled Loop Concentration (ULC) element will no longer be offered by BellSouth and no new orders for ULC will be accepted. Any existing ULCs that were provisioned prior to the Effective Date of this Amendment will be grandfathered at the rates set forth in the Parties’ interconnection agreement that was in effect immediately prior to this Amendment and may remain connected, maintained and repaired according to BellSouth’s TR73600 until such time as they are disconnected by MyLineToo, or BellSouth provides ninety (90) calendar days notice that such ULC must be terminated.
