Washington State Paid Family and Medical Leave. Commencing January 1, 2020, employees shall be eligible to receive Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) under the Washington State Family and Medical Leave and Insurance Act. To be eligible for this leave, employees must have worked a minimum of 820 hours within the past calendar year. Such leave shall be used consecutively with the employee’s other leave entitlements unless the employee elects otherwise, unless the statute prohibits otherwise.
Washington State Paid Family and Medical Leave. A. The parties recognize that the Washington State Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) Program (RCW 50A) became effective January 1, 2020, and eligibility for and approval for leave for purposes as described under that Program shall be in accordance with RCW 50A.
Washington State Paid Family and Medical Leave. The Employer will pay both its share and 100% of the employee’s shares of the premium cost for the Washington State Paid Family and Medical Leave program.
Washington State Paid Family and Medical Leave. Effective August 16, 2019, the District and employee will be subject to the rights and responsibilities of the Paid Family and Medical Leave program (PFML) under the Washington State Family and Medical Leave and Insurance Act. Eligibility and use will be determined in accordance with the law.
Washington State Paid Family and Medical Leave. Commencing on July 1, 2019, the Employer will comply with the Washington State Paid Family and Medical Leave by paying premiums amounting to 0.4% of an employee’s gross wages to the Washington State Employment Security Department. The premium shall consist of 63.33% withheld from employee paychecks and an employer contribution in the amount of the remaining 36.67%.
Washington State Paid Family and Medical Leave. The City and Union agree to that either party has the ability to reopen negotiations regarding changes arising from or related to the Washington Paid Family and Medical Leave Program (Title 50A RCW) including, but not limited to, changes to the City’s current paid leave benefit which may arise as a result of final rulemaking from the State of Washington, which may include changes to the draw down requirements associated with the City’s Paid Family and Parental Leave programs. Employees will continue to pay the employee portion of the required premium [listed as the WA Paid Family Leave Tax and the WA Paid Medical Leave Tax on an employee’s paystub] of the Washington State Paid Family and Medical Leave Program.
Washington State Paid Family and Medical Leave. The District agrees to comply with all Washington State Paid Family and Medical Leave laws, per RCW: 50A.04. The District shall pay fifty percent (50%) of the premium.

(PFML) The District and employee will be subject to the rights and responsibilities of the Paid Family and Medical Leave program (PFML) under the Washington State Family and Medical Leave and Insurance Act. Eligibility and use will be determined in accordance with the law.

For the duration of this agreement, the City and the Coalition agree to re-open each collective bargaining agreement, upon receipt by a Coalition Union of a demand by the City, for the following mandatory subjects of bargaining: • Changes associated with revisions made to the Affordable Care Act (ACA). • Changes arising from or related to the Washington Paid Family and Medical Leave Program (Title 50A RCW) including, but not limited to, changes to the City’s current paid leave benefit which may arise as a result of final rulemaking from the State of Washington, which may include changes to the draw down requirements associated with the City’s Paid Family and Parental Leave programs.
