Common use of WAITING TIME Clause in Contracts

WAITING TIME. Journeymen and Helpers shall be paid waiting time for any day(s) or regular shift(s) lost during the normal scheduled work week. For any day lost during any one work week, the waiting time payment shall be a lump sum which is the equivalent of five (5) hours’ pay for Journeymen and four (4) hours’ pay for Helpers/Trainees. Such pay shall be at the applicable straight time rate.
