Wage Rate Adjustment. The City may adjust wage rates for bargaining unit employees whose rates of pay may be less than those of other employees in the same job classification due to market or operational driven reasons (e.g., reorganization, restructuring, increase in responsibilities); compression; internal or external relevant experience; internal equity; relevant licensure, education, or certification beyond the minimum qualifications of the classification, if deemed desirable by the City; and other adjustments as deemed appropriate by the City.

  • Rate Adjustment (a) An employee who is set back to a lower paid job because of mechanization, technological change or automation will receive the rate of his regular job at the time of the setback for a period of three (3) months and for a further period of three (3) months he will be paid an adjusted rate which will be midway between the rate of his regular job at the time of the setback and the rate of his new regular job. At the end of this 6-month period the rate of his new regular job will apply. However, such employee will have the option of terminating his employment and accepting severance pay as outlined in Section 5 below, providing he exercises this option within the above-referred-to 6-month period.

  • RATE ADJUSTMENTS 1. Taxes applicable to the gas delivered to Buyer hereunder as are in effect on January 1,\ immediately preceding the effective date of these terms and conditions shall be added to Buyer's bill. The term 'tax' as used herein shall mean any tax, license fee, or charge applicable to the gas delivered hereunder, imposed on Seller by any governmental authority on such gas.   • Wage Rate The hourly rates for full-time junior and adult apprentices as set out in this agreement shall apply to school based apprentices except that the school based apprentice for pay purposes will be paid a further 25% of hours to the actual hours worked for off the job training.

  • Wage Adjustment Notwithstanding any provision in this Agreement on the contrary, the wages of employees shall be reduced by the amount of employee contributions made by the employer pursuant to the provisions hereof.

  • Wage Rates Contractor shall post a copy of the wage rates at the job site and shall pay the adopted prevailing wage rates as a minimum. These rates are on file with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors. The Contractor shall comply with the provisions of Sections 1774, 1775, 1776 and 1813 of the Labor Code.

  • Mileage Rate The mileage rate for authorized travel – based on State of Florida rates on the Effective Date of this Agreement – is $0.445 per mile.

  • Wage Adjustments If the funding available to be used for wages provided by Government in any fiscal year increases, the Employer shall pass on such increases to employees consistent with the funding increase adjusted for any additional deficits that this contract incurs. This will be the case whether the funding increase is for the entire year or simply a portion of it, and wage increases shall be effective upon the effective date of the increased funding. Should there be no increase provided by Government, wages will be maintained at their present levels. Should there be a decrease in funding, then the Employer will maintain wages at present levels. The Employer will promptly provide the Union with any information it receives from the Government regarding funding available for wages, and the parties will meet as required to work towards cooperative resolution of any issues arising from this Government information.

  • Mileage Rates The mileage rate shall be the maximum allowed by the Internal Revenue Service. If the IRS rate should change during the term of the contract, the contract rate shall change also on the date specified by the IRS.

  • Wage Rate Penalty Pursuant to the provisions of the Labor Code Section 1775, the Contractor shall forfeit to the County, as a penalty, the sum of Twenty-five Dollars ($25) for each calendar day, or portion thereof, for each laborer, worker, or mechanic employed, paid less than the stipulated prevailing rates for Work done under this Contract, by Contractor or by subcontractors, in violation of the provisions of this Contract.
