Volunteer Work Clause Samples

The Volunteer Work clause defines the terms under which individuals may perform services for an organization without receiving monetary compensation. Typically, this clause clarifies that volunteers are not considered employees, outlines the scope of permissible activities, and may address issues such as liability, supervision, and reimbursement of expenses. Its core practical function is to set clear expectations for both the organization and the volunteer, ensuring legal compliance and minimizing misunderstandings regarding the nature of the relationship.
