Volunteer Requirements. Any requirement adopted by the School that requires parents commit to or accrue a number of volunteer hours shall be subject to a waiver process that considers individual family circumstances, and the School shall not condition the continued enrollment of any student on the commitment of the student’s parents to provide any number of volunteer hours or donations in lieu thereof. The School agrees to conduct background checks of volunteers, as appropriate, and to require evidence of insurance and driver’s licensure if the School will be using volunteers’ private vehicles for student transportation.

Volunteer Requirements. If you are an adult volunteer member over the age of 18 with regular access to and/or authority over minors, you must pass a background check and take all courses required by USA Gymnastics or the Center, including without limitation, the required Safe Sport training. If these requirements are not met, you will not be granted membership in USA Gymnastics. Without an active membership, you may not to participate in any USA Gymnastics sponsored, sanctioned or other activity.

Daily Operations • Volunteers must not lift more than 50 lbs without assistance. • Volunteers must not park directly in front of the store. • Water, sodas, and snacks are available in the kitchen. Drinks and snacks are free, and volunteers are encouraged to stay hydrated. Volunteers are welcome to bring their own water and snacks and may store any perishables in the refrigerator. • Any customer, employee, or volunteer personnel issues should be brought to the immediate attention of the manager. • Please keep Thrift Shop business confidential. • Volunteers are not to be in employee only areas, such as the warehouse, on days they are not volunteering. • Volunteers are allowed to use the employee discount on the day they work and are required to work a minimum of 2 hours to receive the benefit. This discount is a privilege and should be treated as such. Anyone abusing the discount privilege will lose their discount. • Volunteers are not allowed to sign out items to take home to test nor able to store items in the store or warehouse for future purchase. All purchases must be made before the end of the workday. Failure to abide by the Volunteer guidelines and agreement can result in the loss of volunteer privileges.
