Voluntary Union Membership. Each employee shall have the right to join, or not to join, the Union as he individually prefers, it being agreed that there shall be no discrimination or coercion by the Employer or by the Union in connection with the decision of the individual employee.

MCL 423.210(3)(b) All employees are free to choose whether to join, not join, maintain, or drop their membership in the Union as they see fit.
