VOLUNTARY JOB SHARING. Voluntary job sharing is dependent upon the understanding that student needs and scheduling take precedence over individual bargaining unit members’ preferences. This concept is predicated on consensus, conciliation, and cooperation. Also, shared positions shall be reviewed annually and will not be renewed automatically.

VOLUNTARY JOB SHARING. 223. A Nurse Practitioner may voluntarily elect to work a reduced workweek for the purpose of sharing a collaborative practice with another Nurse Practitioner, subject to the approval of the Department of Public Health. Under this arrangement, any Nurse Practitioner is entitled to holiday pay, health and dental benefits and educational leave as provided elsewhere in this MOU. Pay, vacation and sick leave shall be reduced in accordance with the reduced week regularly worked. Time worked beyond the employee’s regularly assigned shift shall be compensated for in overtime pay.

VOLUNTARY JOB SHARING. Subject to paragraphs (c) (i) and (iii) above, two or more Regular Employees in the bargaining unit may elect to share a position or positions, provided that the Company and the Union each agree with the terms and conditions of employment arising from the proposed Job Sharing arrangement.

  • JOB SHARING 20.01 Job sharing is defined as an arrangement whereby two or more nurses share the hours of work of what would otherwise be one full-time position. If the Hospital and the Association agree to a job sharing arrangement, the introduction or discontinuance of such job sharing arrangements will be determined locally.

  • Voluntary Layoff Appointing authorities will allow an employee in the same job classification and department where layoffs will occur to volunteer to be laid off provided that the employee is in a position requiring the same skills and abilities, as a position subject to layoff. Any volunteer for layoff shall have no formal layoff option. If the appointing authority accepts the employee’s voluntary request for layoff, the employee will submit a non-revocable letter stating they are accepting a voluntary layoff from the University. The employee will be placed on all applicable rehire lists.

  • Sick Leave Sharing The program permits employees to donate sick leave to a fellow employee who is suffering from or has a relative or household member suffering from an extraordinary or severe illness, injury, impairment, or physical, or mental condition which has caused or is likely to cause the employee to take leave without pay or to terminate employment Definition of Terms used in this program:
