Voluntary Activities. The parties agree that employee participation in the Combined Federal Campaign, Blood Donor Drives, Bond Campaigns and other worthy projects will be on a voluntary basis. This does not preclude giving general publicity and encouragement to employees to contribute. The Employer will not require or coerce employees to invest their money, donate to charity or participate in these activities. Participation or nonparticipation will not advantage or disadvantage employees.

Comp time may be earned for scoring of the district progress monitoring for work completed after the normal workday. One hour of comp time or $25 will be given for each hour worked and must be used within the year the comp time was earned. Comp time that is not used will be compensated at $25 per hour by the last paycheck in June. The teacher will record the comp time on a form developed by the district and have it signed by the principal. The office manager will record the comp time. Time may be used in lieu of sick or personal leave. The authorization of comp time is the responsibility of the principal.
