Video Display Terminal. Employees who are required to regularly work directly with video display terminals (VDTs) shall do so under the following conditions:
Video Display Terminal a) In order to provide a safe and healthy work place for its employees, the County agrees to order VDT equipment that is safe and efficient to use and prevents health hazards such as eye strain and eye fatigue.

Operators are encouraged to briefly interrupt their video display terminal work (for example, by standing, stretching, etc.) at the end of every hour before resuming work. Approved breaks and lunch periods may also be used to interrupt the work periods.
