Video Camera. The District agrees to the following regarding video camera and GPS tracking device installation in District vehicles. The District will:
Video Camera. As video cameras and “black boxes” are purchased, their usage will be phased in on the board owned student transporting vehicles in compliance with Board policy. Camera replacement will be determined by the transportation supervisor on the basis of vandalism, student conduct reports (the number of severity of incidents being given consideration), driver requests and random assignments. Drivers may request a camera on their bus; however, they cannot refuse camera placement. If the camera is equipped with an on/off switch it must remain on at all times that students are on the bus. This includes activity trips. The camera would be turned off only when the bus is empty of passengers. Drivers will be allowed to view the tapes to identify students responsible for disruptive behavior. Equipment to do this is available at the garage. The video cameras and tapes are not intended to be used to monitor and/or evaluate the job performance of drivers or aides, however, video cameras and tapes may be utilized as evidence by the employer in disciplinary proceedings.
Video Camera. Street Beatz Studio has a live streaming video camera installed in the dance studio are that may be used on occasion to check in on party to ensure you are following the rules. This camera will not and cannot be used for any other purpose. These cameras will be placed in areas where there is no expectation of privacy and may be used to follow up on complaints from staff, students or the community. Such cameras shall not be used for routine evaluation of employees. No information generated from such systems shall be used in any discipline unless the conduct concerns issues affecting the health, safety, or welfare of persons or the theft or destruction of District equipment or property.

  • Directory To participate in the MnDOT TGB program, a business must be certified at the time of contract execution. Certified Targeted Group Businesses are listed in the Directory of Certified Targeted Group, Economically Disadvantaged and VET Vendors. MnDOT makes no representation as to any TGB’s technical or financial ability to perform the work. Prime contractors are solely responsible for performing due diligence in hiring TGB firms. A TGB’s failure to perform the work will not be considered justification for a compensation increase or time extension.
