Verbal Procedure. An employee who believes that he has a grievance shall discuss the matter with his immediate supervisor within four (4) days following the events that caused the grievance. If requested by the employee, his or her xxxxxxx may be present.

Verbal Procedure. An employee, or the Union President, with a grievance shall, either within five (5) days of the occurrence or the incident which gave rise to the grievance, or the employee first becomes aware of or should reasonably have become aware of the occurrence of the grievance, first discuss the grievance with the Sheriff or his designee with the object of resolving the matter informally. If requested, the Union Representative may be present. The Sheriff or his designee shall give his answer to the grievance within ten (10) working days.
