Common use of Vehicle Information Clause in Contracts

Vehicle Information. The maximum load capacity of each hauling vehicle will be rounded to the nearest whole cubic yard (CY). (Decimal values of .1 through .4 will be rounded down and decimal values of .5 through .9 will be rounded up.) The measured maximum load capacity (as adjusted) of any vehicle load bed will be the same as shown on the trailer measurement form and placarded on each numbered vehicle or piece of equipment used to haul Debris. All vehicles or equipment used for hauling will have and use a Contractor approved tailgate and sideboards will be limited to those that protect the load area of the trailer.
